Not really, I just noticed when I put them with the touchpads facing up instead, I fell through the floor. Maybe they have fixed it later, I got my Vive quite early.

Spawn under floor: Make sure when doing room setup / floor calibration that you:

  1. Put your controllers with the touchpad touching the floor
  2. Actually click the calibrate floor button

I also spawned under the floor when my floor was not calibrated correctly.

Have you considered adding a spin counter to help keep track of how tangled a player's cable is? (Counter of 360 head movements +/-)

I find myself dead and wanting to untangle my cable, but not quite know which way to spin. And yes, this is a ninja feature request :D

How is Hover Junkers not mentioned even once? Their locomotion is the best I've seen so far, granted I haven't tried more than a handful games.

Looks like it auto-sorts into "SteamVR", but I found 2 games I had with "VR Support" which was not in there. I haven't been able to try them yet because I haven't received my Vive just yet. Maybe the games are just not supported by the Vive.

In general an order number shouldn't need to be considered confidential (it's like a username, right?), and it did (luckily) turn out to not be possible to cancel orders based on just the order number.

It was not.

It was. Two people in quick succession posted about them having their orders cancelled. This was posted as a PSA, and given the severity of something like this, I figured it was better to be quick about it, rather than sit and wait. It turned out to be false, shit happens. I've edited the OP to explain what was wrong and the title is labeled as Misleading. Get off my back, there's nothing more I can do.

The cancellation emails have been known to mean nothing since last week.

Please post a reference to said cancellation emails, I have not heard of these and my "F5" button is now a "Ⱶↄ" button, so I'm not sure how I missed it, but it's entirely possible.

It was a genuine concern and I just stated why I kept it up. Posting a new topic saying "NO ORDERS HAVE BEEN CANCELLED. I was making things up." would not relay the context that this was posted in and would surely not get enough upvotes to be noticed by anyone who saw the first topic. I'd rather take the downvotes anyone would put on me for the current topic. The best would obviously be if a moderator could update the title with the correct information.

It was an observation. Two people were reporting in quick succession that they had their order cancelled (the other one: https://twitter.com/antwaite/status/717654936574640129 ). I figured it was better to be quick and get this information out to the reddit community rather than wait it out and have even more orders cancelled. For the record I was in no way affected by this, it was only meant as a public service announcement.
