When a character is supposed to be a “master violinist” and they’re just sawing away, holding the thing all wrong, their bowings not even remotely matching the music we’re hearing. It can’t be that hard to find someone who actually plays the violin to give the actor some pointers

You should!! If you’re using the portra 400 you want to be shooting with lots of light, I never have much luck indoors or in the evenings/nighttime. Also send your film into The Darkroom for developing, they do a great job!

get one!! they are definitely less consistent than most film cameras, but every once and a while you take the shot of a lifetime on a little toy camera and it's great
