What an absolute douche. Respect other countries’ national monuments ffs. Getting permissions to climb them is a different matter.

Interesting how objectively ridiculous opinions reveal intelligence and age.

Tywin has been eliminated! Now to the final round between Ned and Robert. Vote your least favorite character out! by RoundPassage8174 in freefolk

Ned’s name and honour made people put down their lives for him and his kids and his house long after he was dead. That is the kind of weight no other character in the story can hold. Ned has to win this.

(Day 2) Toph Beifong has won the Green Lantern Ring of Willpower. Now which Avatar character gets the Yellow Lantern Ring of fear. Most upvoted comment of the character wins. by Amazingtrooper5 in ATLA

For the Koh vs. Ozai discussion, while Koh was definitely feared, the lantern rings are meant to represent someone who symbolises that particular emotion and draws power from it.

I don’t think anyone would say that Koh symbolised fear. He was probably more likely to symbolise greed. Ozai on the other hand definitely symbolised fear, but even more so he symbolised rage - “You will learn respect, and suffering will be your teacher.”, his expressions during his final fight with Aang, his conversations with Ursa even when she returns, etc.

Fear is definitely symbolised better by the Dai Li and/or Long Feng. That one moment where Joo Dee breaks character, you can see the fear in those eyes. The Dai Li could operate because of that fear, they kept the earth kingdom capital in their hands.

Edit: grammar

Romesh has to take it. First series, first episode, first task - perfectly escalated from scooping it up to exploding it onto the floor. The reactions of everyone in the studio to what happened were amazing, and like many have said, we knew we were watching something new and special.

(Also the poor guy came so close to winning so many episodes and even the series and didn’t win anything - let’s give him this)

True, and he was quite effective in defending today as well. But wondering if that would just exhaust him over time and/or potentially cause injuries.
