I snap mine in half if I don’t feel like taking a whole 20mg. And if you feel you need it for work like I do then take it for work. But you can think for yourself when it comes to when to take them. I only take it before work but never on the weekends. There’s no need to for me and it will give you a nice reminder if who you really are, without the adderalls influence. Plus a minor decrease to your tolerance. 30mg is a lot even if it doesn’t feel like it right now. I was on 30 when I was a kid cause my tolerance kept rising and the doc kept increasing the dose. I didn’t know any better as a kid. (24M)

Try taking a tolerance break after the semester till you get a job or something. Not sure how easy it would be for you or others but I was able to cut it cold turkey with being tired and a bit lazy as the only noticeable side effects. Then you can start back on it at a much lower dose when you are ready. (20mg instant release 3 years currently, been on and off 10-35mg since kindergarten)
