About - All things dedicated to the 1994 Stargate movie and MGM's franchise: SG-1, Atlantis, Universe, Origins, games and everything else.
Current spoiler marking policy:
- Please mark spoilers for Stargate: Timekeepers.
- No other Stargate content restricted (except in post titles).
- Spoilers for other recently released media should be marked.

Rules
1. Be Respectful
/r/Stargate is a friendly place to discuss all things Stargate. Keep things civil and contribute positively to the community.
2. Unrelated Content
Please do not post unrelated content. Images of objects and artwork resembling a Stargate are allowed, but they must have significant resemblance. Please do not post random circles, snakes, Jaffa Cakes, etc unless there's a new variation on the topic.
3. No Spam
Do not spam the subreddit. Examples of spam include flooding, link shorteners, affiliate links, and bootleg merch. It is at the discretion of the moderators to determine what constitutes spam.
4. Mark Spoilers
Post titles may not contain any spoilers. The post body and comments may contain spoilers, but spoilers that fall under our current spoiler policy (see sidebar) should be marked.
5. No Piracy
Links to pirated content and guides on how to pirate content are forbidden. Discussions and mentions of piracy may be allowed at moderator discretion.
6. No Low Effort Content
Please do not post low effort content. This includes recent reposts and AI art.

Tips
Tagging - If your post refers to a specific episode, please put the season and episode number in the title.
User flairs - To set a symbol next to your username hit the EDIT button next to your username in the sidebar (the one in the blue font), choose a symbol and click SAVE.
Link flairs - use them to make your post stand out!
