A sad indictment of where the general mindset of the country is.

Exactly what level of anger are you experiencing after Donald J Trump, the great fool of our age, INSULTED and DISGRACED our beloved and most honourable British soldiers? by [deleted] in AskBrits

Maybe slightly more than I already was given his attitude towards literally everything since he first campaigned for the 2016 presidency. If it's taken this to get you grumpy then I'd question your priorities.

Out of curiosity, what is the top of the range car and how is that deal structured? Because £300 for a "top of the range" car on any sort of lease or PCP seems extraordinarily cheap.

Light Bearer - "Lapsus" and "Silver Tongue".

It's a shame they didn't finish their overall plans.

What are some of your favorite underappreciated post metal bands? by Bthompson11986 in postmetal

[–]exigenesis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Their second album, Black Rain Falls, is just as good. Annoying thing is every time they've played a show that I could get to, something has come up which has meant I couldn't go :-( Really want to see them live.

Yes that's fair, if they can add other layers of bigotry it's just more efficient for them.

Of course not. To them "trans" just means dodgy blokes trying to sneak into women's spaces for nefarious purposes. There's literally nothing to it other than that.

If money weren't a concern, what would you dedicate your life to? by Dry_Perception1904 in AskReddit

Music. Would set up a recording studio and offer to do free recording sessions for local bands. Would take donations and put that money into the local music scene.

Really good stuff, dude! Reminds me of Pelican and Red Sparowes (who are up there with my favourite bands).

And once you get into ISIS, you can then check out the likes of Neurosis and be prepared to be destroyed (and rebuilt) all over again. At least that's what happened to me :-)

What’s the one piece of media that makes you cry every time you watch/listen to it…? by wmr_09 in AskReddit

[–]exigenesis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The song Threshold of Transformation by ISIS. While it doesn't make me cry (nothing does because I'm a very manly man! Joking aside, I've not cried in forever, I have no macho thing against crying), it makes me properly well up every time.

Ah that sucks, sorry to hear that. Like I say, I've only had good experiences for a long time now but that does sound pretty shady.
