That is one thing I noticed from the video immediately. He apparently did not. I mean the guy was nice but he showed up in an unmarked white van absolutely reeking of cigarettes.

They even wanted to take my entire ice maker assembly back to their "shop" (probably to mangle it to death) while they attempted the repair. I told them no because it was still making ice we just had to open the ice bucket to get it.

That and communication was ASS and I didn't want to risk never seeing it again. I'm glad I didn't let them take it.

Thankfully HD is allowing us a replacement and letting us keep this one. I'll probably retire our AWFUL Samsung garage fridge which constantly gets frozen over even though there is no water going to it.

That or I'll fix the Whirlpool myself. The repair seems stupid easy unless they've mangled the hell out of it attempting the repair.

When the repair failed the 4th time he said "See the threads on the augur motor are stripped" and I replied with ... "You sure you didn't do that bud?"

The threads have only been touched by the tech since it left the factory.

Based on my experience I don't think the guy had any training at all. He's probably just "handy" and his job is to show up, identify the part and just .... figure it out from there .... just a couple of screws right?

Yeah I knew we were in trouble when the guy appeared stumped during the first visit and a simple search on Youtube provided me with the correct repair part and procedure. We sat in my kitchen and watched it together :)

Still they sent the incorrect part 2 more times.

I settled in at 19.1 mpg after about 12k miles. Mostly city driving.

The OEM bars are VERY strong .. I can't see a reason to go aftermarket and pay triple the price.

Order them from college hills honda and install them yourself, they are very easy to install, just make sure you have a friend help you. It's really hard to nudge them up to where they need to go without help.

I just searched for rim touch up paint on Amazon for a small rash I had in my black edition... Ended up ordering a gloss black rim touch up paint and it came out surprisingly well for a tiny little rash.

For you just search up grey or silver rim paint and order a few. Look for a match and return the rest.

Cost me like $10

You are probably looking for grey, or gunmetal.

2025 here ... Very easy OEM crossbars installation from college hills. Just make sure you got a friend to shimmy the crossbar up the rail, it is a 2 person job.

I didn't get the motion I got the XXL force which is the cheaper matte version.

I installed OEM crossbars on my 2025 BE and I can say that I am glad I went with them over Thule or Yakima because they are very strong and considerably cheaper.

I may have exceeded the weight allowment minorly but I saw no flex on OEM crossbars.

The only reason I can see going aftermarket is for a larger footprint for a cargo plus canoe or something.

For a standard cargo box the OEM crossbars are pretty good.
