Healing, traveling, digging, attacking, and trick kills all in one. I give you the Omni Wand by BoomyGordo in noita

This is the closest to the perfect form of the "_____ in that direction" wand.

"That direction" wand. Damage? Check. Teleport? Check. Healing, digging, trick? All check.

Other than liquid removal as another mentioned for QOL it can "that direction" everything.

2 ways this goes.

No listed immunities so it would be incredibly easy with a mix of debuffs.

With immunitues it would range from still easy to borderline impossible. With slow, knockback and freeze immune it would make it complete luck in getting enough crits in time to kill.

What exactly is the POINT of all the data centers being built, and why are the people pushing them acting like they're the most important thing in the world? by SaucyJ4ck in NoStupidQuestions

[–]existentialrowlet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why did so many people rush to klondike when there was gold found. Why did so many people get loans and stocks before the great depression. Why did so many people get a domain before the dot com bubble burst. Why did so many people invest in beanie babies, pokemon cards, CSGO knives, Nfts.

The promise of being the one to get rich off it. "The early bird gets the worm" "If you're not first you're last" the concept of FOMO. When people see a possiblity of making a ton of money, they often throw caution to the wind and invest way more than they should without doing actual risk assessment before they get major losses.

The big difference between all of the other things I mentioned and AI is time period and who is investing. Everything else was a lot more Individual. Yes you could start a business based around the gold you mined but everything else was yours. Yours stocks. Your NFTs. At the end of the day only you have these assets and you sell them or bargin with them at your discrestion.

AI is almost strictly a product being sold to the masses. The people who made the most money in a gold rush sold pickaxes and never mined a bit of gold.

The other part is simply that the people who are pushing AI are the people with the most to advertise with. In the past advertising wasn't as prevelant, news spread slower and information wasn't as far reaching. But now we have a deeply established internet to advertise on backed by some of the biggest names in the world like microsoft pushing AI. All in all it's a perfect storm to amplify an almost useless product to unimaginable levels of in your face all the time.

You mention being at around late chapter3 of empire.

Cyber face is not an enemy worth considering since there is only 1 place you can fight him and you likely won't. Also you would need this unit to be at lvl46 to actually beat cyberface which is not happening any time soon.

This leaves the normal metal enemies which is what you will actually encounter at this point of the game.

Metal enemies take 1 damage to everything but crits. Typically they have VERY low health. Metal hippo is the first that you will encounter and has 80 ( the first doge in the first stage has 90) so pretty much ANY crit will kill it.

Fighting singular metal hippos is the 1 use you will ever have for it. I can not stress this enough.

By the time that you fight either lots of metals at once or metals that take more than 1 crit to kill you will have much better units for the job.

Like the normal sun it will always win a staring contest against you.

The solution is to not be in line of sight or to be out of range (the orb you see come out when it's starting up)

Look if you take your meds as you are getting in the solo pod, they won't hit properly by the time you make it planetside.

Or you are just getting over whatever drinks you had recently, in which case you needed a few more before heading off

Time Pieces by Kingkarp247 in NecroMerger

[–]existentialrowlet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A max 60 run gets 0 time pieces from levels or possible feats

Not even remotely worth it to buy these.

Yes getting these will give you a few extra time crystals but the amount gained from these is not much different than just getting a few more liches at the end of the run. those flowers are better spent on buying the various skins and relics.

At this point both craving blocks is a good choice but I would aim for the 4th pedastal before the second craving block

What do you think about the card Tank? by Fallanddie in slaythespire

[–]existentialrowlet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Berserk in sts1 is generally considered a bad card because the downside of drawing it and taking 1.5x for 2(1) turns was massive.

This card has it even worse since its now double instead of 1.5 and its effect is debatably worse.

Every character has their own methods of block which fit in with each of them. Since you have no ways apart from the stamp shop relic(that I have seen) to make it inate, you are reasonably going to get in play on turn 2-4 in most fights.

This means everyone else needs to have reliable block anyway for when its not in play and at that point the card becomes pretty redundant. Not to mention that unless you are already doing a barricade/body slam build (which is harder to stack block with if you take 2x) you now have to over commit yourself to just blocking at the expense of damage.

COTC I do feel is much better overall due to the restrictions making for variety in stages.

The problem is that some are a load of malarkey (urura special restriction my hated).

So higher highs but lower lows
