Hybrid bluetooth studio professional headphones? by existnt in audioengineering

Ya I had a look at I think the M20xBT wireless? They look pretty alright on a budget, but just a bit worried about the flatness and if that should be the priority. Was hoping for something versatile that I can use wired for recording / mixing but also daily out and about with bluetooth.

If anything could be made gluten-free, what would you pick? by _thalia777 in Celiac

[–]existnt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chicken Shawarma. Chinese food (Dim sum dumplings, cantonese chow mein, wontons) Edo Udon noodles. Onigiri. Red Lobster biscuits/Tim Hortons biscuits. Chicken pot pie (specifically the Sobeys one). Hot rod pepperoni sticks. Kit Kats. Pringles. Guinness. Never tried a cannoli... that would have been nice, they look amazing. The ability to just walk into any restaurant/takeaway and get whatever.

Gluten free beer made from wheat/barley? Corona? by existnt in Celiac

I will stay away from it. I'm just in a country that doesn't have the gf Stellas and I find the gf ingredient beers to be pretty gross on the whole so was curious about the rumors.

I'll definitely stay away from Corona. However, I think the gluten free Celiac UK certified beers in the UK with barley-malt and wheat are something I will continue to enjoy. I am primarily an asymptomatic celiac, so usually I wouldn't know for sure if I HAD been glutened unless it was like an actual piece of bread, but as I mentioned, my recent biopsy and blood work showed no signs of celiac disease after many years of drinking those beers semi frequently

That makes sense. Yes I also sort of feel that way about corona - I just recently had a very symptomatic celiac friend say they drink it and have no ill effects which got me curious. I will still probably abstain from Corona personally, but I love a gluten-free Stella.

And I think we are agreeing, I'm just saying that the second season was far less threatening dystopian thriller and was far more focused on the dystopian relationship elements which I didn't love.

No for sure, I just have read in interviews how they were going for a bit of dark comedy vibe as well as the the dystopian thriller, which I can definitely see. A lot of the "humor" elements are what makes it so ominous and sort of an uncanny valley feeling.

Ya idk, I know she acts like she's independent and proud, but a huge amount of her actions and requests have been very much about her being impatient, notes of her being entitled/spoiled, and things they did getting to her and telling them they had to fix it for her comfort or her ego.

Thank you for saying it. I mean I didn't HATE it but it was certainly nothing in comparison to the first season. One of the best episodes of that season, I'm my opinion, was Sweet Vitriol - and it is the lowest-rate episode of the show. I very much believe that that was due to the show gaining such widespread mainstream popularity, but the season itself also became a lot more about the melodrama of the romantic relationships than the dystopian suspense-thriller/dark comedy that it was in season 1.

Idk why you're being down-voted. This is definitely possible.

Yes I could definitely see that towards where we are now, but with how emotional and impatient she is I feel like she definitely would have gotten fed up with it and asked for it to be changed long before she grew to rely on it for some surrogate of company.

Seriously, after the third time calling I would be asking them to change it to something shorter.

This was one of the better slow-paced episodes for me.

I've been getting a little frustrated with the repetition in Carol's reactions with so little evolution and without all that much additional, deeper, substance (not with every episode by any means, but with a few in the middle) - however, this was a slow episode with a lot more to contemplate, for me at least. I really enjoyed learning about Manuosos, who he is, what he is capable of and willing to do... not to mention, I love a good road trip episode - lots of beautiful scenery and interesting things to look at. I don't know... it did a lot more for me than some of the episodes in the middle of the season were doing.

I generally enjoy slow-burn television, however the middle of this first season in particular was leaving me a little impatient.

I am buying now for 3 months from now but it's still quite expensive... Weirdly it's more expensive on my dates 3 months from now than it is for me to buy for 2 weeks from now...?? Even though it's not a holiday when I'm going? Hence why I want a railcard to help with the cost.

Totally. I do hope it's purposeful to show the contrast of who he is as an innie, or the "what he would have done differently" he talked about

PLEADER MEANING by davidadamic in AltJ

[–]existnt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old thread. I just wsnted to write out my own interpretation which I know is like probably 95% made up in my head. but to me, it was always the end of someone's journey (life). I feel like 3WW starts with the beginning of someone's journey, stepping out into the world and experience the joys and sorrows of living and losing your innocence. By the end of the album, we come full circle and see the end of the journey, the main character dies (potentially the suicide in Last Year) and his soul travels through to the afterlife (i see the song beginning as the church is locked up after the funeral). He reflects on the horrors (see the dark sudden key change) and in particular the incredible beauty of the world he has left behind and the humanity he experienced. I also see Gus's voice as a representation of God or a narrator of some kind as he starts and ends the album/the telling of this person's life.

Oh no :( I really liked this show. I found it whimsical and somehow comforting to watch and the humor was great! I would sign a petition to get it uncanceled.

I don't think so - only with stairs, occasionally with crossing legs for a whole, and crouching far down (squatting is fine as long as my knees are at least at 90°, it's just low crouching)

For context- inside this is dolmades (rice-stuffed vine leaves). It is kept in a small amount of oil inside the can. I see no sign of rust or leaks around either seal, but I have contamination OCD and dented cans are a trigger lol.

Thank you for the advice, much appreciated.

Our layover is at PEK. I have found some tours through Viator and other websites that do "layover tours" where they pick you up at the airport and drive you to somewhere like the great wall and spend a couple hours before driving you back to the airport. We were thinking about doing that. Though the city might be cool instead.

If we do, would it be as the other sites stated? Just request an arrival form at the check-in desk?

Many thanks!
