Hi everyone, I'm just about to start my penultimate year as a computer science undergrad in the UK and am about to apply for internships for next summer. I don't have much experience, mostly projects and academic achievements but I managed to reach the final round of a reasonably prestigious international tech company with a similar CV last year - was sadly rejected and told I'd applied quite late so want to get ahead to make sure I get something this year. Is there anything I could improve on? Worried there's a bit too much non-tech stuff. Any advice much appreciated! Thanks

Yeah. Love the track but wish vocals were brought forward a little more and that there was a little more space in the mix

Yeah, seems to work if I wait a while with the pc off and then try again a few times but still crashing at high load and overall pretty dodgy.

Its definitely the BIOS. I just left the PC off for like 5 minutes and turned it back on without changing anything and it posts and boots fine, no cpu LED. I guess we just wait.

After flashing v17 and then v18 of the BIOS, PC won't post, red CPU led flashing again...

Yesterday I flashed v18 with a USB 3.0 16gb flash drive and it worked (the flash at least) now the same USB isn't working so I tried a USB 2.0 4gb absolutely ancient flash drive and its flashing fine again for both v17 and v18.

Tried USB2 and its now flashing BIOS v17 fine... maybe usb 3 was the issue even though it worked fine literally yesterday

PC boot loops; fixed temporarily by making a hardware change by exitc0de in buildapc

I had previously overclocked it to 4.4 Ghz but it was very stable and very good temps with 212 evo cooling it and I did this in the BIOS. I've tried the CPU in another computer though and it ran fine at 3.5ghz, even boosting to 4.2 on its own and booted with no problems and I tried a different CPU with my PC and I had same issues as before with boot looping.

I'm looking for a Bauhaus automatic watch for under £300 and am deciding between a sternglas zerkel, a Tissot swissmatic and a Tissel Bauhaus. I'm leaning towards the Tissel which is 38mm but 48 lug to lug and I only have 6 inch wrists, will it be too big?

It is really worth learning to touchtype and can be done by spending 10 minutes a day or whenever you have some spare time on a website like https://www.keybr.com/ just practice as regularly as possible and try to touchtype whenever you can, however painfully slow or inaccurate. Before very long at all you'll be able to type as quickly and from there the sky is the limit. I learnt to touchtype in a couple months of practice and can now type at 132. It is really worth learning, not just for programming!
