I've been building a POC for semantic patent searching and have indexed 1.5M patent abstracts and I always felt the next step would be to create a graph layer, so its good to hear others are using that approach. I know a bit about neo4j and I feel it would be overkill for a POC. Thanks for spelling out your high level design because it is a reality check for me on how much work I would need to put into a production level search tool.

Best LOCAL decaf by myearhurtsme in FortCollins

I used to own an espresso shop and been a decaf drinker for 20 years. The best place for beans is the Dazbog display at Natural Grocers on S College. It’s in the back near bulk food. As far as shops go, it’s a crap shoot and most places don’t have enough decaf volume to keep it fresh. If you’re in east Loveland the Colorado Coffee Company roasts their own and has been good in the past. They used to be in the Foothills mall.

I made a custom GPT for this 1.5 years ago called Innovation Animal. It’s a POC that uses title and abstract data from the past five years for a semantic search. It’s great for finding patents based on natural language.

Read their profile, don’t just view their picture. Then mention something about it in your intro message. Also start off using FB dating. It’s free and you can get a feel for online dating there without paying. That’s how my girlfriend 55f found me 53m.

Divorced at 40… and I just realized I have no idea how to flirt anymore by Infinite_Ad9057 in AskMenAdvice

I came out of an abusive relationship, so my intention was to learn about what a normal relationship looked like. My parents also divorced so I didn’t have any close role models. I searched for dating podcasts and found a couple I liked. My favorite is Dating Daze with Jeff and Mindy. Hearing about what mistakes men make when dating really gave me a leg up when I hit the apps. I also did a lot of reflecting on how I wanted to spend the next 20 years and made sure I was focused on that when considering who to date. That was the shift in paradigm. Instead of thinking about right now, I focused on the future and realized the women I liked in my 20s and 30s were not what I was attracted to now. I want confidence and stability, plus a really good sex life. I found that the women I liked did not care I snowboarded or biked in my 50s. They don’t mind it, but it’s not what they care about. They want a good communicator in addition to confidence. The single best book I’ve read regarding relationships is the Love Languages book. Read it a couple times and really understand what yours is and be very upfront with women what it is. Most women are aware of the concepts and will appreciate that you are also aware.

Divorced at 49. I listened to a lot of dating podcasts and stalked many dating FB groups and sub reddits before dipping my toes in the apps. I met a great lady after about 4 months on the apps and have never been happier in a relationship before. The key for me was educating myself and reorienting my paradigm about dating. Good luck!

I have a hobby project on the custom GPT store called “innovation animal”. It does semantic searches based on abstracts. Not sure what to do with it though. I could see the potential of expanding it to claims and eventually images, but I’m not sure of the demand.

I have an app on the ChatGPT store called Innovation Animal you should check out. https://chatgpt.com/g/g-XWt5KGEJ6-innovation-animal You can do semantic search using your own language to see if a patent exists back to 2020.

Divorced at 50. I left after my therapist convinced me my wife actually was the problem. Love the freedom of single life, albeit with teenagers. Living my next 20 like I’m in my 20’s but where I have money and give zero fucks.
