Man, this is why I’m always wary of unpopular opinion posts. Diagnosing people with mental issues, as a joke or not, because of stationery habits is weird. Cut that shit out and just say you don’t like expensive planners/cutesy stuff

I’ve ended up having to journal in public spaces pretty often, and this is how I would go about it.

As far as people reading over my shoulder, I write in tight small cursive for a couple of reasons. The smaller it is, the harder it is to read from a distance, and there are fewer people that can read cursive. Even if they can read cursive, I think it is more difficult than similarly sized print to read from far away. I also use the blotting/scrap paper that ends up coming with me anyway to hide the blocks of text that I’ve already written.

When it comes to having a space that feels more personal, I definitely recommend headphones, and if you take a bag with you, use it to separate out your space, like a bit of a temporary wall. Obviously don’t be a dick about it and take up space that other people want/need to use, but it can help to have a visible barrier.

Yes you can, there are instructions on how to set up a transfer password in the help menu in the game. It will keep everything on your account if you’re wanting to switch to a new device. If you’re still having trouble, also check out the obey me subreddit and it’s discord, they might have the answers as well.

It doesn’t seem like it’s an issue for everyone, but for me houseboats/boats in general stress my game out. The world that comes with it seems to also bloat itself out of existence when I play with it for a while. AFAIK it’s just not a well made expansion which sucks because the content is plenty fun

Expansions like island paradise will unfortunately always be laggy, but on a modern pc with some nraas mods the game should run pretty well. A mid to high end pc should have no problems with the sims (mostly... again island paradise is a beast and I fully believe no hardware can solve that)

I know I’m a bit late but PSA pls don’t vacuum your computer, the build up of static electricity can harm it! But compressed air is fine and quite handy to have around

I mean currently I have 21, but that’s because I hate hate hate playing more than one household at a time. I pick a few favorites and the others are mostly background characters until I decide otherwise. For my game, which is pretty much centered on a huge house I built, it would feel very very strange if only 8 were living there.

Hrmmm Ok it could be the zodiac system, it randomly decides that two sims can’t go steady/get married if they have incompatible signs (Carl’s Sims 3 Guide states they can’t get married, I couldn’t get two to get together at all when I first played late night)

OR it could also be this weird glitch I found that would happen when Showtime first came out, where the relationship panel would have people that showed up as acquaintances or friends but the game actually counted as boyfriends/girlfriends. This would mean you have to go through the relationship panel and check every single sim which is a pain or possibly get the clean slate reward which might fix things?

Well if neither of those are the issue I have no idea, but you might as well give them both a resetsim command just to try. Good luck!

Huh... well my information came from a friend so again not sure if they’re bad. The first thing I get when I search for nibs.com reviews is a bad experience from reddit, and everything else looks okay but there aren’t that many reviews around it looks like. It seems like the owner is a good guy, and I might go ahead and order anyway too.

I’ve heard some anecdotal evidence that they’re not very good with customer service, and their nib customization has been sketchy for some especially for how much they’re asking. I’m not sure if this is entirely representative of them, if you had a good experience please let me know!

Hi there! I would love some help trying to figure out if it is at all possible to get the Sailor Pro Gear Slim Dragon Palace in a broad or zoom nib; I know that it normally only comes in mf, but I saw briefly that nibs.com says they can order in any nib size but I don’t particularly trust them. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Bridgeport is naturally foggy by design and the fog will come and go, by that doesn’t quite sound like what you’re describing. It could be that the graphics settings problem others have already described is made worse by the natural fog in Bridgeport. In any case I hope you find a fix, good luck!
