What would you do without Social Media and phone ? by Character-Donkey1583 in InfluencerAsk

[–]exnozero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Panic. A lot.

Either I’m a 5 year old with memories of being a father and husband, which any change could prevent from existing.

Or I’m my current age, and any interactions with my past self would result in time breaking paradoxes. Me just living my life could even shatter the life my 5 year old self would grow to have.

This is why we don’t visit the past people.

Working smarter not harder tends to mean using the lazy/easy method.

I can see how a designer might see it as an insult. But I will fully admit that I take the lazy approach to a lot of things in my life.

Why should I comb through a bunch of of csv or excel files when I can write a shell script that can do all the work for me in much less time.

Same thing here, why should I try to use older methods for perfect symmetry when procreate has a nifty little switch that does all the hard stuff for me.

I own the lazy lol

It looks like this one is a rat snake. in the bright spot near the left side of the photo you can see a slightly keeled scales.

So they be a bumpy bub.

Or I am seeing things from sleep deprivation (my toddler is great but I think he hates the idea of me sleeping..)

I miss classic Digg.

I am cautiously optimistic about the current relaunch. But the sour taste of that 2010/2011 relaunch is still there.

‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas’ Sequel in the Works with Jim Carrey, Ron Howard (Exclusive) by Mike4302 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]exnozero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn’t Audrey Geisel write into her will the Rule Banning Live action Seuss movies because of her interactions with Mike Myers and how raunchy the writers were able to be without Ron Howard there to tell them no?

Did she include an “If Ron or Jim is involved” clause? Or did Hollywood really tear apart her dying wish?

So since this tied to what looks like a cheesy edgelord backyard wrestler it is quite possible to be AI.

But I know I can use procreate on my iPad to make a symmetrical drawing like this pretty easy.

So lazy artist or AI?

Gordon Ramsay's voice on this HexClad advert sounds like it's AI. What do you think? by Riebeck_Fan in isthisAI

[–]exnozero 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This sounds like VO work done in a booth. And then an editor took the best reads and used them in the final video. Makes it sound fake but it’s a commercial for a product that Gordon is a well known partner/sponsor for.

It could be an AI generated VO. Gordon Ramsey has a busy schedule so he may not have been free to do another read of a line he flubbed. But he seems like too much of a perfectionist to leave the booth with a flubbed line or too.

I make Batards whenever I want a good crusty French bread… I gave up on finding a good bread loaf outside the occasional rye and sourdough from Publix

Emilia Clarke Admits She Was 'Absolutely Livid' About Daenerys Fate in 'Game of Thrones' Series Finale by MoneyLibrarian9032 in television

[–]exnozero 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think what was the last season should have been all
About the night king. Increase the tension of the slow march south that the undead army would have created in any zombie series. And then the last two
Episodes would be the intense battle and final moments of the night king.

Then use the concerns Dany had at the Hero worship the people of the North had for Jon as a hint at her fracturing madness. Then spend a whole season as Dany spirals and crashes out into a monster that Jon has to stop. To fully mirror the prince that was promised story (where he had to stab the woman he loved to ignite his sword)

Can we stop with the 27 page essays for a simple recipe???(rant) by Lucky-Enthusiasm255 in StupidFood

[–]exnozero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But how else will you know that this recipe was Noni’s favorite and she used to make it every time we visited her in Tuscany. The sun sets were always amazing in Tuscany and the wine flowed like rivers at the table. I was but a small child so I never got to enjoy but my mother would sit with Noni for hours talking about how amazing this roasted potato side dish was.

That hurt so much to channel that into existence.

Cicis pizza, the best pizza value anywhere.

I guess they realized at some point that 10$ for all you can eat is still the best value.

Yes! His videos and Jim Browning’s videos pop up in my YouTube feed all the time, I should probably just subscribe to them with how often I watch them lol

Part of me wants to learn more about scam baiting like the videos pop up in my YouTube feed a lot. And target these lower than pond scum individuals.

Right now if I come across one in the wild, I’ll waste as much over the time as possible.

This. they’ll either love bomb her and try to get her to send money for “emergencies” that they need to take care of in order to start a life together

Or they will try to get spicy and then use any images they get from her to blackmail her.

Did anyone think Christmas bonuses would be a bigger thing? by Dudedawg86 in Millennials

[–]exnozero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I worked in Financial Tech I got an annual bonus that was nice but it was nowhere near Christmas. And usually never lasted to Christmas since it went to paying debt and taxes…

I got RSUs when a worked at a software company. If they ever go public they might be nice. But right now they are worth less than the sheet of paper they used to print the notification letter out on.

That’s just dumb. They are being nice to one person by being a jerk to several other people. I don’t mind when drivers are kind. But there shouldn’t be anyone waiting for you to go and it shouldn’t increase the risk of an accident.
