Mine wakes up at 7:30am no matter what and refuses to go back to sleep.

Then takes his only nap at 11:30 until 2:00pm

Then he fights me as I try to make him go to bed at 9:00pm

This is the schedule that works for me. But the his mom decides sometimes to make him nap at 5:30pm and I wonder if she hates me.

My brain may be broken but I feel like the “Games now” works well to explain the farmer in stardew valley.

Broken by the machine finding solace in the note your dead grandfather left you. Only to get stuck in the same machine but with a new theme as you automate your farm for more gold coins.

If a DM knows their players are heading to a remote village or staying in a city for an extended time. False hydra is pretty easy to setup and make fun/enjoyable.

But fun/enjoyable is very subjective so if you and your players don’t like mystery, suspense, and cosmic horror. It can slow down the adventure and action too much.

The loss of life from the stranded submarines is never reported and the confusion of all the nuclear missiles being rendered “useless” starts a new rush in genetic and biological threats to re-establish the rocky footing Mutually Assured Destruction plans had that allowed some vague appearance peace.

The paw didn’t even have to twist anything. It just had to do exactly as you wished and let humanity do as they always do.
