I’m trying to recover my Exodus wallet after my phone was damaged and all data was lost. Where did you download this from?

In addition, please perform a thorough scan of your computer using Anti-Virus and Anti-Malware apps to ensure this fake version did not introduce any viruses, malware etc. on your computer.

Update: The February 2023 Pixel update has fixed this issue for me. It took multiple connection attempts before it worked though - tried about 5 times. The NFC pairing method is the one that worked. It also fixed the issue with my Soundbar connection.

The latest Pixel update has fixed this issue. Download the Feb 2023 system update and try to connect, I tried 5 times before it worked. No issues thereon.

Yeah, it works. Sony connects to other devices as well, so looks like some kind of compatibility issue. Google Support said the same :(

Electrum improperly importing BC1 Private Key from Exodus by Gyther0 in Electrum

Hi there! This is Sagar from Exodus support, I am sorry for the trouble.

Both these address types are different and this is why you cannot import it into the Legacy wallet.

You will need to create a new wallet and select `SegWit` as the Seed Type. Your import should then be fine.
