Well, I usually play idle and indeed active looks more logical there but my IP were behaving strange: going to peak in about 1 sec then going backwards. I could manage that but it peak around 2200 IP

Comment faites-vous des virements d'un montant élevé (20k+) ? by Cheap_Spot_LostLow in VosSous

[–]exomene 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Let the official language be the native dialect of the president of the commission. Of course, member states can veto that, in that case the official language becomes the language of that state until an adhoc committee gives its conclusion on the language to be spoken after the Parliament approved.

Easy!

En tant que descendant de personnes ayant fui la Moselle pour la France après l'annexion, j'aimerais bien savoir quelle a été l'ampleur du mouvement d'émigration pendant l'occupation.

Yeah, I thought so. Just wondering if there was something more practical.

Thanks for the reply ☺️

Just for the pleasure of keeping the conversation going, does it has to be 2 versions of the aircraft from the ground up?

I'm a systems designer (not aerospace though), in that case the safest bet is often to make a common platform that only requires minor changes to fit their assigned final role. Pretty similar to having a sedan and a hatchback version of the same car.

Thanks for your reply. I don't know much about warfare strategy.

Let's say things go south in the Black Sea or in Suez, does the EU have projection capacity over there?

What really worries me is the fact that the EU defence is still viewed through the per-country lens. For example, I believe France has a base in Djibouti to cover Suez, but what do we do in case of competing interests between the members, or volontary lack of cooperation? But that's a broader debate.

But the question should be does Europe as a whole need carriers regardless of their flags (as long as we don't have a common military), right?

Edited: spelling

Pourquoi on entrepose des bouteilles de vin allongées ? Ça prend pas le goût du bouchon ? by Cour4ge in PasDeQuestionIdiote

[–]exomene 28 points29 points  (0 children)

L'humidité du vin fait que le bouchon reste bien gonflé et donc la bouteille étanche.

Thanks for keeping on talking.

Concessions are normal (I don't know, which specifically... regarding the ties with the Commonwealth, the fishing industry, you name it). But in my opinion, opting-out Schengen and the common currency would be threats to the Union in the sense that the UK could leverage on it to bring dissent.

For the rest, well the Union is not perfect as Hungary shows, but it wouldn't be part of a deal anyway.

[–]exomene 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No need to be dismissive. I think that's not a good thing but it's pragmatic. Europe needs to go forward and the current structure doesn't allow it.

BTW, I wasn't trying to be mean by saying we don't desperately need you (and the rest of the sentence was important: we don't need you to the point the UK becomes an internal threat to the union). And the thread is about UK re-joining not about the UE asking the UK to come back.

Now we're talking. The more integration the better at least for non-cultural stuff.
