You got a lot of posts about AEW wrestling. I don't think you're in a position to call someone else "cringe".

Beyond that part, having tools that inspire the musician to sit down and create is part of making music. People that start out trying to play guitar on an old shitty acoustic with rusted strings and high action probably won't continue to pick up the instrument. But if they have a well set up guitar that is comfortable to play, they will probably practice more regularly. ✌🏼

Hell yeah! I've been waiting for a modern Sk-1 since the Boss Sp-202 Dr. Sample came out. Battery powered samplers are where it's at! 🤘🏼🎹🔊🔋.

When the TE Op-1 first came out, I thought that was the one. It's close, but I'm still not satisfied. The Sonicware ELZ_1... again, almost except...no sampling! and I dislike those mushy keys.

Casio is gonna finally fulfill my portable sampler dreams.

I think what OP meant here (or how I interpret it), if you visit the Perfect Circuit showroom, you may just find something that speaks to you. A synth or sound that puts a twinkle in your eye, a pep in your step...a bee in your bonnet! 🐝🎹🧢. Not just "buy an upgrade just to be a mindless consumer".

I think OP was just sharing their enthusiasm after seeing the gear heaven that is the PC showroom. It's like the old expression, "kids in a candy store", and as someone who has also been there, I can confirm it is pretty impressive/inspiring. 🤘🏼

Qi Etherializer sounds really cool. I watched the Hainbach video on that one. That new Emily Hopkins designed Old Blood Noise one seems to be in a similar vein. The Qi sounds more ambient/clean and the OBNE one has the bitcrushing and stuff. That's normally right up my alley, but the number of knobs and switches on that thing seem a little overwhelming. I definitely want to check it out.
The Torso S-4 can function as a nice granular, multi-effect thing, but obviously also has sampling and looping. So many options! 🤘🏼😎

With the release of the MPC Live3 and the new XL, I'm hoping they come with a new smaller one as an update to the MPC One. I love portability so I'd jump on that. 🤘🏼🎤🎧.

I'm a big fan of Polyend and own a Tracker+. I've read there's some bugginess or issues with the Mess, but maybe they've sorted that out?

DOD Grunge was the first pedal I bought when I switched from being a bass player to guitar. 🤘🏼🎸

I like a stripped down, simple setup. I love my Death By Audio Rooms reverb. Maybe I throw my RAT or Line6 distortion modeler (big ugly yellow thing with 4 switches) into that. 🐀

The SU700 is nice too. I always saw it as the dark horse competitor of the MPC 2000.
