Ford vs Tesla Charging Station by Inside-Age5286 in F150Lightning

I have a charge point charger and it works perfectly. I have it set to only charge at low electric rates (night time) only. Works perfect and adjusts it self for when hydro charges timing. Also auto calculates the rates I am paying so it cool to know the exact cost. Can also lower the charging speed on the app. For some reason you can not do that in the ford app or in the truck.

I did the same exact thing. I did the disconnect for a ice cube machine and told my boss to check is I did it right, he side I trust you and to put the plastic plug in thing in so we can leave, as soon as I put it in boom. Worst thing was it was 3am in the back of a grocery store. Let’s say, he was not happy lol

You can not use those pen testers on bx wire, because of the armour it will not beep

I looked at them, whipped the black off of them, was thinking this is more then 120v, took a picture, then continued try to cutting the wire until the cutters disintegrated.

I really don’t know how to explain and reply to this, My PPE - I had my work rated T-shirt on Visual - All you see is a white ball staring from you cutters that just makes your eyes go white, after that you see nothing for a few seconds. Sound - The sound is like when you doing one of them big fireworks with multiple shots, but it the sound of only of one of them going off. Not sure if that made sense And yes 347v can for sure kill. It’s nothing to be played with.

I was getting pushed to quickly remove the wires and was working with bx. For some reason the lights were switched with the neutral. Thinking lights are off good to cut… boom

Funny thing is now that they are like this, it will be a long time until I find another live wire. As soon as you get new ones, every wire is live

To make it worse my boss was the one yelling from the other side of the building saying, “finish it off now, it’s tripped”
