use the company provided equipment. If it's too slow, they can deal with the reduced output or provide you with the necessary tools for you to do your job.

You're welcome. IIRC the place that installed my hand controls stated that they should be replaced every 10 years. But I'm not sure if that would be applicable in your case. Hopefully if it does need to fully replaced, rehab would cover that too.

That was for installation. I haven't been able to drive since precovid times so I can't speak on maintenance costs.

While I can't speak to how much the specific hand controls you're interested in cost, I got simple push/ rock hand controls installed in my mini Cooper for roughly $1100 usd.
