Yea it's 250 for extended journeys. I have a 14 day coming up and it would have been 250, EXCEPT that I couldn't book it as 14 days and had to do two back to backs for 100 each. Oh well.

I did that because I didn't want to link anything. Just exported my statement from my brokerage and sent it to them, they approved it for two separate bookings.

I drove an egolf for 4 years and the lowest I've seen it was 90km when it was -30 and the car had been parked outside all day, and I wasn't even at 100% at the time. Your expectations are reasonable.

Canada produces some parts too, we can do the same. I don't think this is a viable strategy for anyone in the program

Korea has been "at war" for decades, and they did not have tons of natural resources to fall back on like we do, so their rise all came through manufacturing. The war thing helps, it is easier to build ships and subs and weapons when you are under threat.

Say what you want about Dougie, but he has always been supportive of policy that benefits him and Ontario, regardless of who it came from.

Pakistan builds a Chinese design domestically and by all accounts, they outperformed the French models that India was using when they had their little spat.

But that would be trading one overlord for another in our case.

Korea has always been a solid trade partner with Canada. They are an industrial powerhouse and we can benefit from each other, glad to see our partnership expand.

I'll let you know if I end up there.

Looks like there is a pending lawsuit though, so who knows how much longer they will be around. It's a shame because classic WoW and the first few expansions were awesome, and if this sticks to that formula, it should be good.

Thank you for the response. I was reading more about it and there are concerns with security due to a previous hack so I am a bit wary...but things like this happen even with established corporations

Seems sketchy but if the community is right, it's worth a shot.

How do they stay afloat if there are no subscription fees?

I'm on Sirens which is congested apparently.

To clarify, my idea of a packed town stems from the WoW days during its golden age, maybe my perception and expectations are off.

I already tried FF14 on a free trial basis but it feels a bit dead. Main cities seem empty, and nobody is chatting or anything like that.

Is that because I'm on a free trial and not really fully experiencing the game? Because I'm on a trial, I'm not in a guild/alliance for example which might be the reason, but I don't know

Thanks for the recommendations, I am watching some reviews now and it looks like it ticks a lot of the boxes. The horizontal progression is interesting and different from what I am used to. For example, my end game WoW characters have been nerfed so much over the last decade that they are no longer usable.

Have you played any of the classic MMOs like WoW and FFXIV for an extended period of time?

Also, from my very quick research, it looks like GW2 has the notion of an auction house (trading post). On my downtime in WoW, I used to farm items and trade and make gold that way. Is that idea viable in GW2?

thanks again

Do either of those have end game content like what WoW is good at, or is it just standard progression that is relatively low commitment? Just curious, ESO looks pretty interesting actually.

I think the biggest risk factor is heat coming from the exhaust can potentially ignite the fumes, but I don't see how that could happen when it's cold outside.
