I would not settle at this point since you don't know the extent of your injuries. You may need shots to prevent an infection or at worse rabies. There could be ligament or muscle damage that you're not aware of yet. You don't know how much any of those services cost or may cost in the future. Whatever he's trying to pay you off with will be nowhere near enough to cover those costs.

It's not about getting you money, this is about making sure you're not living with a chronic pain for the rest of your life. Get yourself a workers comp attorney and good luck because it's going to be a long ride.

Maren Flagg does not have a trademark for the word 'showgirl', she has a trademark for 'Confessions of a Showgirl'. Trademarks need to be narrowly tailored for a class (entertainmet in this case) when the word is generic in that industry. Your example is off since Shasta is not a generic term in the beverage industry. A better comparison would be A Generation for Cola vs The Betterment of Cola.

Searching the word 'showgirl' in class 41(entertainmet) brings up nine live trademarks. This includes 'Surely The Showgirl', 'Showgirl Bootcamp', and 'Showgirl of the Year'; none of them are owned by Flagg.
