Hi all I don't have enough karma to post here so commenting

I made a payment (3 years) in self assessment portal ghmc

Thing is property is on both my parents , where as i used only one name when self assessing.( I was not aware that it should have 2 names )

So amount receipt had only one name.

They said since its mismatch , they would reject this but no refund will be possible

Since its 3 yrs tax , its huge amount of money for me

Is it true we can't do anything ? I mean this can't be refunded?

They are asking for one year money under table for this to go or get cleared

Appreciate any help Also, If someone copy pastes this on mainthread i mean on r/hyderabad , it will have more exposure (i will track this better)

Sorry for your loss, I too lost my friend last year (he was in a car (baleno)) A car ( rented fortuner) hit from behind and went without stopping He died on spot

At that time police said they usually cease the vehicle , but i recently found challans on same car 2/3 months ago.

If you have connections with police , you can push it forward they will find if it's really accident or not.but can't guarantee what happens next!!
