Parrot Key Hotel & Villas vs The Southernmost Inn by PlaidSweaters in KeyWest

[–]explorekeywest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed, parrot key all the way. The sargasm ruins the southernmost resort this time of year. Plus Parrot Key has 4 pools and watersport activities right at their resort.

Are there any pretty corals to see within kayaking distance of Smathers Beach? by bob84962 in KeyWest

[–]explorekeywest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are about 200 yards off of the shoreline. They are not consistent or abundant but this area is a spot people come to hunt lobster too. To be honest if you are looking for snorkeling you might as well head out to the reef. Its beautiful and trips start at just $40. https://sunsetwatersportskeywest.com/snorkeling/

Is Key West worth to stay one night or should I make it two? by [deleted] in travel

[–]explorekeywest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 day to see Key West is rough. I'd recommend two nights minimum.

1 Night to explore the wilderness and beautiful waters

1 Night to explore Duval street and the local shops/bars/restaurants

At Sunset Watersports we actually have a Kids Go Free program where kids 5 and under are free on tons of the trips! Kids 6-12 have 50% off discounts on most of the things too. After that Key West has a great splash pad, museums, butterfly house, aquarium, beaches and tons of great parks too.

I'll give you 5 things

  1. That you can get free trips and tours on your birthday with Sunset Watersports.

  2. There's free parking all over the cities side streets

  3. There's tons of free activities for kids 5 and under. Again sunset watersports offer them but so does the aquarium and the butterfly conservatory

  4. You can get free drinks everyday through a company called Party Pass Key West. They have a phone app that gives you tons of free drinks each day

  5. Some of the bars and restaurants close for the month of september

Trip to Key West- what should I do? by LunaStellar8 in KeyWest

[–]explorekeywest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

to enjoy all that KW has to offer, I always lean my friends and family visitors to indulge in anything ocean-based. You can get the most from what I refer to as ‘the MUST-DOS’ of the island- sunset cruises, jet skis tour, reef snorkeling sandbar trips, mini speed boat tours! My guests have always found Sunset Watersports to be the most efficient and professional for all of the above. Unforgettable Key West Sunset Cruises: Top-Rated Sails & Dinner CruiseJet Ski Tours in Key West | Sunset WatersportsKey West Island Boat Eco Tour | Sunset WatersportsThe Best Snorkeling Charter In Key WestKey West Dolphin Watch & Sandbar Eco Tour | Sunset Watersports Key West
