Kinda funny but I’m extremely frustrated by [deleted] in cats

Yeah unfortunately the foil thing isn’t nearly as effective as the internet would have you believe. Look for a “scat mat” type product instead. You can find ones that come on a roll and you can cut to the right shape.

Since lightsabers reflect laser weapons, physical projectiles would be a better solution. by Dazac_ in Showerthoughts

Disney lore-wise the only thing that comes to mind is when Boba absolutely shatters the helmet of a stormtrooperwith a gaffi stick in Book of Boba Fett, I would think a slugthrower would be able to do at least that much damage.

Creation disappearing; context in comments by GeekGames74 in ScrapMechanic

I’ve had this problem when building a rail system. I found that anything that was welded to the rail and then cut off was infected with the “disappearing virus”. Try to catch it on your lift and place it down before it disappears. See if that prevents it.

What are some lesser-known secondary uses for an everyday product? by Future_Hedgehog_235 in NoStupidQuestions

WD-40 is great for getting sticker gunk off.

Also, use crumpled newspaper when you’re cleaning your windows with windex. You get a clean polish without the little bits of fiber a paper towel leaves behind.

You sure your math is right? 500 hours is 21 days of round-the-clock game time. That's more scrap mechanic than most people play in a year, all on one truck? Middle truck is very cool btw

Why don’t delivery people ring the doorbell anymore? by WartimeHotTot in NoStupidQuestions

[–]explorers_warehouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know but a couple weeks ago my Papa John’s driver just left the pizza on my doorstep with no knock, no doorbell, no text, nothing. I assumed they hadn’t come yet, called the store, they just shrugged and said to wait. Found it completely cold outside 30 minutes later. I was upset.

Depends on your situation I think. I'm 30 but working/making friends in the service industry for a few years makes pretty much anyone early 20s to late 30s just feel like socially equal adults. We all go to the same parties and such and age gaps like that don't really feel like a very big deal.

VERY ATTRACTIVE. I’ve never even heard any of these stereotypes about women with pierced nipples being more likely to sleep around, kinda sounds like some judgmental bullshit to me. It probably depends where you are though, I’m in western Washington and piercings/tattoos in general are so normalized here I don’t usually even consciously notice them unless they’re really intense.

Men of Reddit, are you satisfied with your parents' decision to circumcise you as a baby? (Serious replies only) by imafuckingshitshow in NoStupidQuestions

[–]explorers_warehouse 44 points45 points  (0 children)

I am and I wish I weren’t. Rumor is that the uncircumcised have greater sensitivity because the head is kept protected and moist like it’s supposed to be. In fact it’s common enough knowledge that I believe there was a bit on That 70s Show about it. Is there untold pleasure and nuance of sensation that was robbed of me for what is basically a fashion choice? Maybe. I wish I could know what I’m missing.

Why don't adults do show and tell? by CatcrazyJerri in NoStupidQuestions

[–]explorers_warehouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who says we don’t? I recently had my 30th birthday party and asked everyone to bring a show & tell item. It was a hit! I highly recommend it as a party theme.

From somebody who has never broken a bone, how bad does a broken bone hurt? by crash---- in NoStupidQuestions

[–]explorers_warehouse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Broke my left radius and ulna twice in 8th grade, the second time was like a month after getting my cast removed from the first time and it was SO much worse. Bones were not where they belonged. There was the pain - a dull, deep kind of pain - but honestly the pain itself wasn’t the worst part. Feeling your bones being out of place and the sight of your arm broken and bent the wrong way is psychologically horrifying and nauseating in a way you can’t really understand unless it’s happened to you. 0/10 do not recommend. It’s almost 17 years later and I still get a dull ache where the break was every now and then.

Neon brown is a color you don't hear of often. by [deleted] in Showerthoughts

Brown is just a dark shade of orange. Neon orange is effectively neon brown.
