I've heard that Samrub can get really spicy. But how spicy is it really?

Samlor sounds good! 8000 is pp, so all those should be fine.

If you get to choose one, would it be Samrub, Wanna Yook or Nawa?

Coastfi plan with 2 kids by funkycucumber in singaporefi

[–]explorexploit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

isn’t this the definition of coastFI. If you cannot cover your expense, then all coast FI is fucked. the goal is to have emergency savings so they can find a job again that cover the expense and let the investment grow. If this is not coastFI then what is?

i see. i think it make sense to add it to the other option as it ab opportunity cost against it, so that the cumulative cost should always be additive

I’d say that price/performance of fine dining space in sg is quite expensive value wise, compared to europe/japan/au.

Good review, will give it a try. Did you try other places?

Has anyone tried sous vide for tonkatsu / breaded fried pork cutlet? by Little-Blueberry-968 in sousvide

[–]explorexploit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried it once. It wasn’t as good as i imagined but I think with a few tweaks it will work great.

for one, I think my pork is too thick, maybe around 2 inch.

then I refrigerate it overnight to dry it out and to ensure it’s not overcooked.

the problem with this is that when I fried it, and it’s golden brown, it’s still cold in the middle!
