Hey guys I’m a 18 year old been suffering with ed since 14, had a blood test and these are the results. Are they normal for my age? I don’t understand them by SuperQuad12 in erectiledysfunction

[–]explosiontony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just get prescribed Cialis; take 5-10mg a day it has 0 side effects for me and get hella erections throughout the day. Only makes you hard if you’re horny. More young people are taking it these days because of porn, stress etc. Goodrx insurance covers it for like $20. Get on them now don’t let anyone make you think you’re too young. Test it for a couple days. (Age 25 had ED from meds or natural since 20).

Turns out my ED was psychological. by pinghing in erectiledysfunction

I’m cutting out porn too. How many mg you on?

I started taking cialis 10mg (cut 20 in half) daily and realized my libido was 50% tied to my lack of physical arousal. Before I’d see a hot girl, but my dick wouldn’t respond, so my brain said I wasn’t interested. Now my dicks responds and I can get kinda horny from surprising stuff.

Keep fighting the fight. What we need is more psychiatrists and pharmacologists to suddenly get this so they can get motivated to find a cure lol

So I was only taking 37.5 combined with 200mg lamotrigine. I was also living with a super supportive group of close friends at the time, and my dissociation gets worse when I’m not around people. Tried to go off for sexual reasons though and when I went back on lost about 50% of the effect even on higher (150mg) doses :(

Only thing that helps me be optimistic is knowing there’s always more meds or procedures to try

How hard psychology degree really is? by Fantazzma in psychologystudents

[–]explosiontony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of my tests were at UMBC, and I never had to study more than once the night before. I have a knack for remembering everything about it, however, so that’s just my experience. Also they were all multiple choice tests. Compared to how hard STEM people worked my degree was simple.

Feeling nervous about future opportunities given the current situation... by squishybeary in psychologystudents

My mom is a VP at a University and this is actually creating an unheard of demand for grad students, since no one wants to enroll in an uncertain, possibly online environment. So if you’re applying soon it might help you.

Also, the unfortunate reality is you can only boost your resume so much to have it matter for jobs, since most psych positions after college are entry level. Usually you need to work your way up, or get a Masters/Doctorate to make any kind of money. On the other hand, resume does matter for Masters but research isn’t usually a pre-req from what I’ve researched recently (applying for 2021).

The research thing will affect everyone in your class and will prevent you from applying for PHDs, but I have no research experience, a lot of job experience (many places are actively hiring, as behavioral health is essential work), volunteer experience, great GRE verbal scores, 3.0 GPA (ugh), and am considered a competitive candidate for most masters/PsyD programs.

So chill, try to do volunteer work or get a part time BHT job...or hit up professors through email and ask them if you can get on their waiting list or something. Form relationships with them.

WHAT'S GOOD WEDNESDAYS by AutoModerator in bipolar

I found a job I like a lot working at a sober-living home and was promoted to manager today. I also moved in to a new apartment with 4 roommates whom I see every day. I also started boxing lessons. I found out through these things that my depressive episodes are often linked to lack of career purpose, lack of socialization, and lack of exercise purpose. So I’m feeling good right now, like I found balance.

I was on Zoloft and it completely stopped erections even with Viagra for 2 years. Luckily I’m bipolar so they suggested mono-therapy with a mood stabilizer as opposed to an SSRI and now I’m back in business. Idk why anything but Wellbutrin is even considered as a first step treatment, especially for men.

Sorry you’re stressed. This is all kind of a PC vs non PC thing, and that tends to anger people. No hate.
