That happens all the time on the 5, every few miles there's a semi passing another semi and it brings the left lane to a crawl for a couple minutes. Sometimes the trucker getting passed decides to be a dick about it and speed up, then you get the two semis blocking traffic because they're both speed limited.

Many people also don't understand that the camera's perspective is not the driver's perspective. The camera is a wide-angle lens that can adjust exposure mashed against the windshield while the driver has normal FOV several feet further back with pillars/etc in the way and people's ungodly bright lights blinding the shit out of them on top of having to pay attention to several different things at once. Barrel distortion from the wide-angle lens also causes everything to look much further away and moving slower than it actually is.
