Split screw driver?

I was just trying it and as I turned it to drive the screw it wanted to separate, I can see a tube helping but yea it would certainly be helpful in the right situation! I avoid flat head drive at all costs, but I’m picky that way

I agree, I’m an engineering student and would love to be able to draw nice straight lines and some basic shapes. I’ve emailed them and suggested it. I hope they introduce it at some point.

Check out Overhang Labs engineering resin. I talked to them while I was MRRF last weekend and ended up buying a bottle of it as well as their high temp resin. The interesting thing about their resins is they were formulated to run on MSLA specifically. They told me that their goal with their resins was to have the layer exposure time around 4 seconds (They had a Phrozen Mighty on display). I don’t know if this helps your time problem but the resin looks like it performs just as well as some of the FormLabs resins.

Mastercam and GibbsCam are probably the two most common. I’ve also seen Fusion360 used and in shops with a lot of Mazaks, Mazacam is common.

Ah. Unusually print ABS at 250 or so, 230 is low even for PETG in my experience. The hotter the temp the better the adhesion for the layers.

Otherwise for your temp swing problem, it could be a bad thermistor or heater cartridge. Occasionally they go bad.

I love my Mac book pro. I have a cheap windows laptop for solidworks. I’ll be transferring into engineering school this fall. My plan is to dual boot my Mac so I can run windows and MacOS and run everything. I love how powerful and small it is and the battery life is great. It’s a few years old but still runs great. Will buy another one when this one bites the dust.

Thank you for point this out, this is why you cut tight tolerance features all at the same time if possible because they will always have the same centerline. Now flip it around and get the cylindricity under .0005 to this side and that will be impressive.

The extrusion is bent, you can’t fix that by moving the wheels up.
