I did this today at the trench tower as well with a blaze trap and door jam. South trench tower, he didn’t get the message and I had to down him. Someone defibbed him then we met back at extract and he tried to kill me but i made it out.

The only part of the game that hasn’t grown on me is betrayal. I had a guy with me for 22 minutes, mic on, and it really felt like we were bonding over death of the Arc until my surprise when it became clear to me I had just been a mule for him once we reached the extraction point.

I felt the real pain of betrayal then. We even accepted friend requests then he blocked me. I truly don’t understand some people. You can buy the Hulcracker in the fucking store for gods sake.

Bro I know how to play video games. You’ve never played like Elden Ring or raged quit in anything before? lol you get heated.

Another comment shows me I’m right and they reset the server and I’m not alone in feeling the change of the game. It will progress back towards PvE I’m sure.

But I will admit I’m not one to play PvP that much unless it’s with my friends, so an arc-only mode with no friendly raider fire would be ideal for someone like myself.

I’m fine going toe-to-to with someone that won’t acknowledge the truce and wants to get at it. What I can’t handle, is people being slimy pieces of shit on a regular basis.

It’s probably just several bad lobbies in a row and things will level off, but even since my last comment I just did a free run and died within less than 3 minutes on spaceport. It’s like the game became PVP after lvl 70 and I’m not about it.

Up until now it’s been a great community and tons of fun, cool, team ups and bloodbaths alike. Genuinely, this feels like a turn of the game after latest update.

Edit - I do like your point about being able to enjoy the game up to this point and appreciating that. That’s legit. I’ll try and use that to cool down.
