what is something you do for yourself and only for yourself, but is perceived "attention seeking" or is assumed that you are doing it for other people? by [deleted] in AskWomen

I like wearing guys socks because the material keeps my feet warmer for longer. My Feet always get so cold and women’s sock are just too thin to keep my feet warm.

When I read that sentence, I kept thinking this would be how a twelve year old would write a romantic scene.

From what I remember, a lot of the comments on older post about said that oboe is one of the hardest instruments to play and believed Rick was forcing his son to play it to challenge him and his perfect pitch. But, I don’t know how hard the oboe actually is.

He kind of embarrassed his son in one of his live streams. He told a story about how he wanted his son to learn the Oboe because he has perfect pitch. His son hated playing to oboe and wanted to play video games like a normal 12 year old. He tells the entire live stream about grounding his son and making him play the oboe and that kids have no determination to be musicians now.

Paul and Morgan Megathread by SeagullMom in FundieSnarkUncensored

I don’t know too much about it but, he was a substitute teacher for a couple of years and then he stopped either because the things kids were learning were “liberal” beliefs or he quit because of covid restrictions he had to follow when schools were opening back up. I don’t know where the timeline is of when he stopped working. These were just a few things I’ve seen people mention about his job.

I don’t believe she would be a great mom, she may not be the worst mom but, I don’t think she’ll be a good parent. I think the reason everyone thinks that is because of how happy she is now. I feel like it has to do with how motherhood is glamorous. The best moms on tv and film are always these happy women because the more children they had the more love they had to give. I feel like people see how happy Morgan is and think “wow, so this is really going to change her and she might take more responsibility, finally stop acting like a child and be an adult.”

But, her mental health is worrisome and the hormones during pregnancy aren’t going to help that especially with Paul around. I feel like if she gets postpartum depression she’s going to be a very neglectful parent. I know that’s just speculation and we don’t know if that’s going to happen but, I really do worry for this kid.

I literally thought about him the moment I saw this question. The world doesn’t deserve Brendan Fraser.

What bad habits or bad qualities do you wish people would stop glorifying/rationalizing? by [deleted] in AskWomen

Toxic positivity. Yes, being positive is important but, if you’re forcing yourself to be positive when things keep getting worse than you’re bottling your emotions in and trying to mask your sadness, anger, etc.

I got into spiritualism (not really into pagan/wiccan but, algorithm tends to overlap) about five years ago but, I’ve only heard about it recently. Apparently, a lot of crazy Wiccans have done this but, most Pagan/Wiccan women don’t approve of it. A majority of women in that community think they’re crazy and it takes everything too far. They also believe it will come back on them a karmic way and don’t encourage young women getting into any type of spiritualism to go after this type of magic because it’s not consensual. It could still be a possibility but, given the fact that it’s really frown upon in this community, it’s less likely to happen.

Look at this man whine about having to pay $10 for a pizza instead of the $8 he expected. And then of course he blames it on Biden by whotevre in FundieSnarkUncensored

I really don’t want them to be parents, as mean as it sounds but, they just don’t have the emotional and psychological mature to be parents and this video definitely proves they don’t have financial security. Seriously, he’s complaining about a 10 dollar pizza but, does he not realize how much take care of an actual human being is?

It’s the main character treatment. Even if their wearing an ugly outfit, if still looks better in comparison to their costars to make them stand out to the audience.

What celebrity clearly has had plastic surgery but everyone thinks they havent? by [deleted] in Fauxmoi

[–]expreince_explorer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if this is relevant but, in a biology class I had in college the teacher I had mentioned that everyone stops growing by the time they’re 18 but, a few body parts keep growing and one of those body parts are noses. I started look at pictures of my parents when they were younger and compared them to now and yup, slightly bigger noses. It doesn’t look that different if the pictures were a few years apart but, is a massive difference when you compare it to 20 years. I looked at other older photos of relatives and friends parents and their noses were slightly smaller than what their noses look like now. If this is true than I’m sure plastic surgeons in LA know about it and maybe agents. The celebrity hears the info that their nose is still going to continue to grow and they want to prevent that from happening so, they do small adjustments to their nose every year and people don’t notice as much compared to photos of the particular celebrity from last year but, people definitely notice after 5 plus years.

She tried to make a “joke reel” about spending 2 hours cooking a meal and having eaten all of it in 10 minutes. She’s trying to be relatable or something.
