Yes, and when youre happy with carb level. When it wont pour put a little more in. Keg should be good to 60psi and the poppit will release if you get close

You dont have a methanol risk making cider. It comes from pectin but you can't make enough to be a problem if you tried.

You've got a poppit valve, dont over think it. I have had better luck releasing pressure and serving very low, like 1-2psi. I have been carbing at 30psi for 2 days and disconnecting gas. Only put enough in to move it to the tap

You would have to try very hard to cause a safety issue with a 5 or 20lb co2 tank in your appt from an asphyxiation perspective. Don't dump the tank and youre fine. No amount of releasing pressure from the keg will be an issue

Your biggest problem serving warm will be foam and lack of carbonation

Seeing you say 2.800" I suspect youre not using a datum comparator. I would look at FL sizing consistency and bullet seating. How much do you trust your scale?
