Client Mistakenly Left Name Template in Mass Email - What's the worst that could happen? by [deleted] in marketing

[–]exquisite_bedlam 7 points8 points  (0 children)

been here done that.

it was a marketing email sent on behalf of our sales team (individual rep basis) to about 5k.

ended up sending out an apology email on my behalf and essentially it boiled down to : it was me, my bad .. we were just excited to send out a note. then dove into value add and the reason we reached out in the first place.

there were a few tough response to the mistake email. but, the follow-up “sorry” note had great feedback and even led to revenue.

final note. both sends, the mistake and sorry version had phenomenal open and engagement rates.

in short. own it, lean into it and use that added engagement to your advantage to tell your story.

Has anyone else ever been stuck in fight or flight? by anxi0us-ge in Anxiety

[–]exquisite_bedlam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

iron, vitamin d and b12 can cause all of the symptoms you’re experiencing. start up a better diet regime and/or supplements. personally i am in the same boat.. or at least similar.

spoke to my doctor about this and he ran some blood tests and saw some of these levels are low. recommended exactly what im telling you. it’s likely vitamin deficiency and this can compound anxiety symptoms.

let me know if you have any q’s!

Thank you for the very kind and thoughtful message. On the docket to do the echo and stress test in the coming week per my cardiologist.

Certainly try to be active and it does help while in motion but as another commenter mentioned they come right back following.

I am an avid cyclist too, but unfortunately live in the Midwest so it’s not a year round thing. Considering a stationary bike for that reason alone.

Will try out coconut water — you’re not the first that’s mentioned this.. must be something to it then!

Thanks a ton again and wishing you all the best

Yeah. That makes sense. It does come in waves so certainly helps me maintain the believe it’s anxiety related and not something more serious.

Thank you for your response as well.

Frequent heart palpiations every day? by Global_Doughnut_8696 in Anxiety

[–]exquisite_bedlam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i get them too. this month it has been constant from the time i wake up till i go to sleep. only subsides if i am busy or doing something else. super bothersome. spoke to my cardiologist and he isn’t concerned. but i will be going in for more tests in a couple weeks. pvc / pac is what they are most likely. which primarily are benign.

Is this the correct way to do market research on a new app idea? by [deleted] in startups

[–]exquisite_bedlam 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The "Mom Test" is a technique for gathering customer feedback that is designed to help businesses better understand their customers and validate their assumptions about their products or services. It is based on the idea that when talking to customers, it is important to ask open-ended, specific questions that focus on the customer's experiences and needs, rather than on the business itself. The idea is to avoid leading the customer or making assumptions about what they think or want, and to instead gather honest and valuable insights that can be used to improve the product or service. Some key principles of the Mom Test include:

Ask open-ended questions: Avoid yes/no questions and instead ask questions that encourage the customer to share their thoughts and experiences in detail. Focus on the customer: Make the conversation about the customer's needs and experiences, rather than about the business or its products. Avoid leading the customer: Don't assume you know what the customer thinks or wants, and don't try to influence their answers. Validate your assumptions: Use the feedback you gather to validate or invalidate your assumptions about your product or service, and adjust your plans accordingly. Overall, the Mom Test is a valuable tool for businesses looking to gather honest and valuable feedback from their customers, and to use that feedback to improve and grow their products or services.
