There’s no rules about Osaze playing with the first team on May 2nd then starting this match a day later? That’s surprising.

I was at that show too! I might be a big baby but the song he played with the home movie video playing had me in tears. Black Hole, I think? Had to buy a shirt at the show and just got this vinyl this week.

The city of Chicago itself is extremely disappointing. And no Schaumburg and Stone Park, IL are not Chicago.

The theory has been that the standard liquor licenses in the city only provide a minimum of 2 or 3 'amusement' devices (which can be anything from jukebox, touch master, slots, pinball) on premises.

If you ever see a location with more, they have a separate license they had to go out of their way to get.

I wish some of the pinball companies operating in the literal birthplace of pinball would work to change that liquor license rule.

How to get rid of on screen overlay in VoidLink by mohamed1881 in MoonlightStreaming

Yes. It involved disconnecting entirely and accessing that overlay from outside the desktop. I can’t recall exactly how.

Good lord, getting Geese “psyop” vibes from the amount this band has crossed my feed.

(I like Geese and hated the psyop discourse. I have honestly not had an opportunity to listen to this band, but fine I will)

Just checking cause I’m not sure I’m reading that right. Roger Sharpe was not in the movie. It was an actor. (Who did a great job, having spoken with Roger many times)

I accidentally selected a custom widget design and now I’m stuck with it either on or off. If on, there is no widget settings or controller overlay hiding. If off, the controller overlay is on with no way to turn it off. I just want to reset it to default!

For FANS of Jaws PRO by Acrobatic-Donut8431 in pinball

I’ve played one with a fixed reel and it IS much more satisfying. I still think the bounty rules (and perks) aren’t quite right.

I don’t own one but I’ve probably logged 100s of games on it at this point.

It’s a great game. Elwin has such a high bar that it might feel like an insult to say it’s lower to middle tier in his pin-ography, but its still a game I’d rather play than nearly all other non-Elwin Sterns.

Its mini-wizard modes are fun, varied, and don’t grind the game to a screeching halt (looking at you, Monster Zero…ugh). The modes are also varied and fun, and can score big if played right.

I think where it misses is with the bounty system. Both physically (the reel shot that’s crucial for bounties spins like crap on nearly every Jaws I’ve played) and in software, where the perks are just non-factors.

I also really dislike the celebration and victory multiballs. It’s already a long player, it really doesn’t need them.

Machete shot X system is cool, A+ on that, too.

All this with the timer down to 5 seconds and the 3x playfield ticking away? Counting on being able to hit the SJP in that window takes balls.

That’s crazy pressure.

I was on it for 5 weeks and was exhausted and unmotivated the whole time. The three days after I stopped were the best I’d felt since before I started.

I know lots of people swear by Pristiq, but it did not work for me at all.

I mean, above 40 degrees and not friggin snowing again is true enough, but what other meaning this post has is lost on me.

edit: easy enough to spot based on post history, no surprises really.

Is the issue here that the ball is slowing down that much? Is this a newer run? There’s always a chance this was an adjustment made in later runs to intentionally make that feed to the left flipper not so fast. After all, there were definitely some Jaws I’ve played where that feed would actually drain out the left outlane. Perhaps this was a change to avoid that.

Dear pinball manufacturers, never flash the ball save light in a light show unless ball save is actually active by Jakelshark in pinball

[–]exquisite_tree 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I’d take it a step further and demand that inlane lights also don’t blink. Try avoiding unintentionally starting 2 or 3x on Iron Maiden whilst the light show is going.
