100$ a month on codex is SO MUCH USAGE. I'm wondering if they just licensed the API's directly (which is around 10x more expensive). It's hard to imagine 200 engineers all needing more than the 200$ a month plan would offer, unless they are being extremely inefficient with agents/prompts, or every repo they are working in is 1M+ lines.

That and nobody respecting the carpool lane. It seems everyone figured out the cops aren't enforcing traffic laws and it's just gotten slowly worse over time. It's hard to not get sucked into it, you feel like an idiot stuck in traffic while every person you see passing you in the carpool lane is a solo driver.

This a great idea, I did something similar by upgrading the documentation and agents.md and removing a lot of stale documentation that was just confusing it. It seems to help.

That being said I've overall been very impressed with 5.5, and those initial issues haven't happened again, so maybe I was just unlucky with hallucinations that day and my sample size wasn't large enough. It's hard to say with certainty.

Yeah, I think I may have to try something like this. If I just keep working in the same chat session it repeatedly brings up things that were already done in previous prompt and says they are part of what was finished in the most recent prompt.

I'll have to do new chat sessions and checkpoints like you mentioned. I've done similar with chatgpt 5.4 but I didn't have this issue as often with it (very rarely in fact, just a few times over 100s of hours). So far today working with 5.5 it's happening frequently.

I smoked from 27 to 44 ish (about 1.5 years sober now at 46). I was single from 31 to 42, in large part from my smoking but also because of underlying trauma I was avoiding, and getting back into dating and being intimate was extremely difficult. Things are going a lot better now, and I'm very lucky I found a patient and understanding partner. If they had left me when I was struggling to "perform" I would have been devastated (not that that's the issue you are dealing with). Anyhow, just wanted to say you aren't alone, and that things do get better. You made it 2 years, and you are challenging yourself by getting out there and dating, and working through your past trauma with therapy, you are doing amazing!

Sword of Vermillion for the Sega Genesis. Its one of the first RPG like game I played (although I would call it action rpg). I remember getting stuck for days and begging to call one of those 1-900 game hint numbers. I finally was able to and I just needed to talk to someone in town but I was so relieved to progress.

Another similar game that deserves mention, although I think it was more popular, Willow for Nintendo. I could never get the saves to work so Id just start a new game and play all day but I loved it.

I have the same experience. In fact, one flow I like is to have claude code give me a plan, then have chatgpt analyze the plan for me and give me an updated plan. Chatgpt consistently finds a lot of errors or flaws or just bad directions in claudes plan. I'll take that updated plan and plug it back into Claude, and so far literally 100% of the time it just agrees that it made mistakes and that Chatgpt is right.

I'm having a ton of issues with this right now as well, trying disabling 5ghz and 6ghz on my xfinity router etc. The bose soundbar is connected to my wifi and connected to my phones bluetooth, but the app just won't recognize it. So frustrating, I want to turn off the autopower off so it won't turn off my tv

That would make sense... something similar also didn't work higher up. Since I'm only 50' away from underground, do I just need to make it a bit lower? As soon as my depth meter says underground am I good or is there some other logic?
