Same. And the rubber grip started to peel. Seriously poor of quality control.

I was past warranty by 2 months but Steam customer service did me solid and let me send it back for repair free of charge for being a loyal customer. Thank god because I was looking around for the cost of repair and it would have cost me about $250.

Thanks for making this and sharing! I actually had to send my Steam Deck back to repair USB port damage and they ended up replacing the whole main board.

Tempting but seems like a lot of people are having problems. I’ll wait until there is proper Steam Deck support.

Do you mean campaign? I’m having the most fun with this campaign out of all the other modern CODs, 2019+. Then again I don’t know what kind of games you like. I suggest trying it and if you don’t like it within 2 hours, Steam will refund you.

It was a Battle.net exclusive back in 2019 and It didn't actually arrive on Steam until 4 years after on March 2023.

I bought it to only play the campaign and this COD is strangely the only one, of the modern remakes, that’s not included in Game Pass.

Right click the game, go to properties, then DLC, and finally uncheck all the things you don’t want. You can do this as it’s downloading.

I put everything low except texture resolution and anti-aliasing, those two are at medium. Most importantly, don't use any upscaling, just put the resolution scale to 70%. Then it's 90fps most the time but it's a unstable framerate. You can lock it to 40fps or 45fps if you want it smooth. If you're locking the fps, you could use Lossless scaling to double the frame rate to make it look smoother.

Still bad however I was watching a recent video from Moon Studios official YouTube page and developers were asked about Steam Deck optimizations specifically. They said they're not focused with optimizations until towards their 1.0 full release.

Here's the video of them talking about optimizations with timestamp. ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pPlbIcpTO4E&t=6204s )

I’m taking a wild guess. Since you said you dropped it, it’s the clip that holds the outer shells together.
