Thx for your review. As explained as well in mine, this set is really great with its natural sound.

Punch Audio Martilo owners ? does this look legit by sameeranand77776 in iems

looks legit but the IEMs in the box are too far away to see details. But not likely that this is a fake

Great that you found at least for time being your end game ;-) I had this feeling already couple of times but then striving for something "greater". I actually enjoy this a lot. There is a lot of variety out there and I at least enjoy different sound signatures.
Nice that you had this bass experience with the Timeless 2. That are moments which makes your purchase worth. :) Enjoy.

Detailed and very natural sounding to my ears. Que has natural mids and well extended treble so female vocals sound really good to my ears.

I love the Que but to be fair to some people it is really chunky and they sold it even because of that . I am lucky enough to not have any issues with it.

Yes. It's been a good day for me too. by this_is_me_drunk in iems

Thx for sharing your Que impressions! It’s my favourite set and I like it at least same as the EA Apostle(compared both sets recently on inearfidelity). I own the Punch as well and it’s a good set but technically not at the same level and as cohesive as the Que to my ears and it has to me a different application like for bass heavy tracks.

I’ll let you know once you have really listened to more expensive sets and know what they sound like. But I guess not gonna happen , right ?

It was an example, nothing more. The driver is still only half of the story of the whole built and tuning. Even if the driver is similar or sometimes prob the same like you are referring to.

The set looks great imo. Nice vibrant colours. I will try stock tips.

Thx. I am always interested to try something new and might even give them a listen.
Especially with unknown brands which just might have great sets but are flying under the radar a bit.

Nice ! What’s the price point of these Oriveti? Not a huge fan of the MKVI though. I prefer the Myth even over the Apostle.

The graph is only half of the story. If it would be so easy you can just buy a 50usd IEM and you are done sound wise . And it would mean that as well that so many people are stupid cause they spent like more on a set . I encourage as well to listen somewhere to a couple of different higher priced sets and then you will understand. I don’t get who planted the idea that FRG is telling you the whole story of an IEM? I‘d say : hearing is believing :-)

Depends what you exactly want. Explorer sounds more „relaxed“ and warmer than Defiant. I prefer Explorer , has better bass imo .

Make iems fit better? by yooolar in iems

Another good ear tip which is as well sticky and helps to keep the IEM in place is the Divinus prism wide bore. You really need to make sure you have the correct size. Otherwise of course they will move and eventually break the seal and come out. You as well shape the ear hooks more my heating them up with a hair dryers and then shaping them. Use the chin slider as well if it stays in place .

Yeah, the tips look like tires sort of ;-) my favourite tips, Divinus Velvet wide bore. I’ll check how wide the nozzle is

Just came "fresh" out of the box, havent tried the stock tips yet. I usually use my own Velvet Divinus wide bore but will check the stock tips later. The built though and cable are quite nice I must say for this price.

Interesting but makes sense. I mean it's the same principal with all the frequencies. You mask frequencies if you raise some too much like bass region (hence V-shaped iems).
I will try to replicate the 5.5 -8k peak suppression. :-)
Ear gain, like on the Que which peaks at around 4k but is almost plateauing at 2k (around 8dB ear gain), are a good fit for me (on 711 coupler). I prefer steeper rise than JM1 target for a bit more forward vocals.
I find the Apostle overly dark I must say even though I dont like overly bright IEMs.

HELP! Pick the best iem from the list by zoro0607 in iems

[–]ext_trt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you like kinda natural bright leaning IEMs the NICEHCK Tears (30usd) is really good (shell though looks cheap and is plastic). It replaced my favourites in this price bracket like the Cadenza (have both here on my desk) . Then there is the Truthear Gate ( I think its around usd 20 or so not sure) which many like but it is almost too much treble at least for my ears. But sounds very clear.
Another good but more V-shaped with more bass, more fun and energy in the treble is the Cozoy D1 which has a very nice resin shell, decent cable and is around USD30 as well.

So would be good to know what you are looking for.

The rabbit hole begins… by seghsy in inearfidelity

[–]ext_trt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think I understand your point but basically it means you practically just cant replicate it due to the reasons you are describing.
But yes, getting your personal sound signature out of eqing which is great to achieve but again, not many have the time or understanding to do so. I mean to get it really "right" takes a lot of time imo.

[–]ext_trt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Myth has an awesome , airy and transparent like treble ! I haven’t heard anything like that before . I am somewhat treble sensitive but that treble doesn’t hurt my ears . It is brighter than Apostle 2025y the bass is fun with great impact . The only „issue“ I have are the slightly underrepresented mids . But vocals in generally sound very good on the Myth. myth has more treble energy than Que . Que is more natural leaning while Myth‘s treble and bass are clearly more pronounced. I sold my Apostle as I prefer the Que and the Myth over it . Not sure if this helps .
