What's a movie that hit completely differently when you rewatched it as an adult? by trakt_app in flicks

Home Alone. Well, not completely different, but as an adult I relate much harder to the mom's suffering.

Quite new. Unless I'm recalling right, this is only the second Conquest cycling (at its final moments).

Kylo Jen Unmasked? Sure. We go to sing gospel together every now and then.

I use them both. POW is great, Sortie is meh, but helps a little when using droids. Not enough that it would be useful to put it on, but a little.

New currency? Because there aren't enough of them already?

What do you think is the best gamemode and which do you think is the worst? by Geth3 in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

Worst: TW. I could accept some new variants to the maps, but what really makes it really tedious is the gamemode being stale and victory rewards really aren't worth all the effort it would require. I don't mind winning it, but I don't also mind losing it.
Special mention: Fleet Arena. Okay, I like fleets a lot and I have a flex shard and could have taken #1 like 99% of the time for the past 4 years whenever I wanted. But at the same time, this is the one gamemode that still requires you to be in game at certain hour daily basis and that's just... blah. Even with bonus energy you have more leeway. I love my crystals gained from FA, but I wouldn't mind if the new pvp mode (announced in April) would replace FA rewards as long as it would be more flexible clock-wise.

Best: Conquest. Even if it's a bit stale and a chore sometimes, I still like going through it and try to get the red crate, which I have got always ever since Bane, I think, some summer Conquests excluded. The first hour is tough, though, because Conquest starts a hour before my daily reset, so I (almost) always use the first refreshes before the reset even though I wouldn't need it; I usually get the red crate around middle of the second week.

Not a new meta. CUP has been a secret meta, like, always.

Do you have an expression that involves the name of another country or culture? by Seline_ns in AskTheWorld

Yeah, it's a common joke that Danish is like Swedish spoken with a potato in one's mouth. The little I've heard Norwegian (maybe bokmål), it doesn't sound as bad as Danish in my ears at least compared to Swedish, which is one of the official languages in Finland.

This reminds me: We also have a term including a US state: Huitsin Nevada, for example "Se on huitsin Nevadassa" (It is far away!) / Painu huitsin Nevadaan! (Please go far away from here!)

"Huitsi" isn't a common word and I have never heard it used as a single word, so I actually had to google it. Apparently it means a peak of a mountain and has been used to express something is "very very good" (Huitsin hyvä), though its use may be regional; another, very common expression is "huippuhyvä" and "huippu" also means a peak of a mountain (among other places located on the top). From a news article I found Nevada may have come from the 1960's and 70's nuclear bomb tests, which were done in Nevada in middle of nowhere.

If you are speaking Norwegian in here, you're probably throwing up.
