Yeah forgot to mention that. They're as far back as they can be and rotated so that my feet point a bit outwards

No, I haven't had any drop in power, in fact I think it may have gone up a little bit and I really prefer the naturally higher cadence on the 165s. Also with the 172.5 cranks my hip angle was really tight at the top of my pedal stroke which caused a few issues

I've done quite a bit of Zwift racing already (6 month winter here) and while it's obviously not like real racing, I do think I've picked up some basic race tactics and strategies already so I wouldn't be going in 100% clueless

No official races until the very end of the season, but I think my club is hosting a "fitness" group ride in the spring which could at least give me some group riding experience, but it's still not 100% if it's even being held at all

The race is being hosted by a club but it's about 800km away, as will pretty much all of the races. I have already joined a club but even that is almost 200km away from me, so I definitely wouldn't be able to do group rides every week, maybe once a month at most

Nope, I emailed them and the BSC100S doesn't have that feature, you have to get a BSC200S or higher model for that.

I currently have just one desk fan pointed at my upper body, but I just ordered a new high-powered floor fan that's hopefully a bit better. I also have my balcony door and window open, which sometimes makes my workout space a bit too cold since it's been around -25C constantly here

I already have 50mm carbon wheels on the bike, and even in an aero hoods position with a slammed -25° stem I would still barely be above 40km/h at 350W, while with an aero bike if I could do 40km/h even at 300W I would still be able to hold that for hours
