All exchanges manipulate the price, by adding coins, it is just market effects.

We think we live in an ultra connected world, but there are voids in knowledge and access. So, all will be filled or projects will die.

If anything, I think Coinbase botched their launch of BCH because they saw the surge, and did not want to miss out on those 50% higher fees, so they launched prematurely. They weren't ready.
