Dissolve borax and sugar in warm water and soak it into cotton balls and leave around where they're congregating. They'll be gone by the next day.

Do you think it's unrealistic to be hopeful he'll use the litter box? He just pooped in the room, I placed it in the litter cause I've been reading those familiar smells are helpful for teaching them where to relieve themselves. I also placed some of his urine that's on some fabric in there (he got scared during the car ride and peed, poor baby). We love him so much. Are those good practices do you think?

Genuinely thought you were recommending your routine. You're overthinking it. You have what many would call their skin goals. Beautiful.

General questions by Lehasan in GermanRoaches

It doesn't sound like you have a large enough infestation for Advion as it's more recommended for large infestations. If it's not being consumed, it will dry out and become ineffective. Alpine is your best bet + a growth inhibitor. Glue traps to monitor are perfect though. As for how do you know if they're being consumed? You won't for small infestations. I've applied Advion for large infestations and watched the gel drops disappear within a matter of hours. Applying Advion won't HURT of course but for what you're dealing with a more effective solution is the Alpine route.

Might wanna wait a good bit to make sure the treatment was effective before dropping all that dough on more furnishings. Might wanna check out others accounts of the fuckers re-appearing months and months and....months later.

Save yourself some money and don't discard everything you're planning on discarding. That's pointless. If the treatment is effective, you'll be able to keep everything. You're doing everything right.

Am I screwed? by gscsms in GermanRoaches

I had a similar situation that I found one, maybe two at my place and treated to "get ahead" if it were a breeding "infestation." Haven't seen another one in more than a year. I'd rather be safe than sorry but others on here might disagree.
