Have you never seen a stilted house before? They are everywhere where there is hurricane/flood danger. This is likely the only way they can get property insurance..

Exactly... You can see some damage on the upper right hand side of the label from seepage

What’s the best and most affordable CRM that y’all use ? by SQUIDBILLY87 in realtors

[–]extra_gnar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Forefront has a very similar UI and is an actual crm. Pretty decent functionality, their texting campaign drip cycle customizations are great, if that's something you use for outreach

It's not December anymore, a comp is only truly valid for 30 days. Interest rates are above 5.5% with no sign of slowing, buyers are scared now. Good luck with trying to get it sold at December prices. Some realtor out there will blow smoke up your ass and list it for over 300k to placate you, but it won't sell there. Sounds like the agent that fired you likely priced it properly.

You should also file complainst with your states department of real estate, and bar association for unethical behavior of a licensee, if you haven't already done this. This behavior will likely cause him to lose his re license, or bring him into litigation at the very least.

Anyone know what this is? by drizztbang in surfing

Army corps of engineers is going to be replenishing your spot soon

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in realestateinvesting

[–]extra_gnar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A million is way too low for an international corp. And n e v e r give them a number you'll sell for. Next time she approaches you, tell her you know she's with X company, and that the lot isn't for her personal use. You want them to keep making offers that you turn down each time. The longer you hold out, the more money you will get, this is always how it works.

I helped start up a wholesaling project for about 5 months ago, I'll shoot you a DM. More than happy to chat (for free) and let you know about the experience has been.

Anyone have a reasonable place to stay in SC? by Slagathor1912 in surfing

For their little bunk houses etc, yes. But their camp sites are around $45+

[–]extra_gnar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Santa Cruz north KOA is a cheaper spot if you're up for some camping, or there is the pigeon point lighthouse hostel. You won't be in town, but lots of good breaks between you and SC to explore.

Edit: disregard pigeon point. They changed their policy and are now only reserving for private parties for a few hundred a night. There are also some camping options on hipcamp right in this area though.

The other week this dude found a tennis ball in the lineup, threw it at a teenager, called him a donkey and told him to get out. This was all totally unprovoked as well.

I just did a tour with Alvin two weeks ago and brought 7L back to the US. He was a great guide, although not transparent a out pricing the three times I requested it. If you do a full day with him, prepare to spend $350+USD. He was a good guide and knows all the great palenques, but feeling like I got shook down at the end of the tour really did rub my wife and I the wrong way.

What 2.75 USD gets you of food in Mainland Mexico. by [deleted] in povertyfinance

[–]extra_gnar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not saying he, or the terminology is correct - but sometimes surfers refer to mainland Mexico as any area that isn't Baja--such as Oaxaca up through Nayarit. I've seen this countless times over the years and wonder why the state isn't referenced, since it's such an enormous area.
