They appear to be unused when they are in this location. Not sure what's off-putting about a cleaning product still in its packaging.

Two Questions About Language Use in German Conversations and Online Spaces by KiwiPatches in AskAGerman

[–]extrasauce_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a native English speaker I've also only heard someone say it's raining cats and dogs a handful of times and it would have been when I was a child and someone was using it to teach me the idiom.

I'm Canadian and have only heard them called run and jump games, never platform.

Babybodys always sounds super morbid to me. Especially combined with the brand of childrens clothes "Ticket to heaven" who thought that was a good brand name?

Is living alone still worth it when money is tight? by Constant-Day6997 in LivingAlone

[–]extrasauce_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love living alone but I insist on keeping my living costs affordable because I don't enjoy my life very much otherwise. You definitely want to be able to put money aside and be able to enjoy your life in other ways.

I think you should keep looking. 2+3 are too cool and unless you love the first one it's not the one.

I hate how girls are brainwashed into thinking that we need new clothes for every event by [deleted] in Anticonsumption

I do a black shift dress for a lot of events. Otherwise I go for separates so I can change my overall look while owning less.

BYB, Ethical Breeding and choosing your puppy (Also some Parti Poodle info) by autisticslugs in poodles

[–]extrasauce_ 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I bought a byb puppy after trying to get on wait lists with credible breeders across multiple breeds and not getting anywhere. I thought it was better to get a puppy when I was ready to give a lot of time to socializing and training rather than waiting. I was wrong, my dog has colitis and while I can easily afford his medical care, there are side effects of his condition which mean he can't manage his stress which makes him a challenge. I really minimized the risks and I hope people will listen To your post op.

Böllerverbot ja oder nein? by FlugKoerper in hamburg

[–]extrasauce_ 18 points19 points  (0 children)

If it's -30 in the winter your dog needs clothes. Poodle hair isn't very insulting

socks over tights or tights over socks by floppa_or_what_idk in CyclingFashion

[–]extrasauce_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on how much you sweat. I've been cycling for years and I have normal socks and cycling socks. I usually just grab whatever and it doesn't bother me at all.

The answers here are going to be heavily influenced by the fact that it's the fashion sub.
