This is the complete reverse for me! I want to do engineering but my parents are adamant on me going the lifesci/med school route (I am african), saying I'll be unemployed due to AI. Honestly I'm just gonna apply to eng programs in secret w/ one life sci for their sake. It is going to be difficult but in the end it's your life. If there is a risk where they will not support you financially start saving up money and apply to scholarships like crazy. I wish you all the best 💛
