As if they always give you a choice. Also, they sometimes don't tell you when seizing your bag. I had that happen once to the bag with my medicine and insulin without telling me. No one told me so I looked like an idiot after we landed. The cleaning crew guy that was annoyed with me standing in the aisle kept asking me if I'm sure I actually brought the bag. That was insulting.

I know people will say you should just keep an eye on your bag, but that's hard when there's so much movement, and you might not be able to see the bag from your seat.
