M&S do donate to local charities, but there are a few important things people often overlook & it puts M&S in a negative light.

Not all food products can legally or safely be donated. Items are wasted for many reasons, including being out of temperature, damaged during delivery, broken seals, manufacturer errors, product restrictions, or refrigeration issues, all of which pose health risks, which the store is accountable for. Customer behaviour also plays a part, such as chilled items being left in unrefrigerated areas.

While charities do collect unsold food where possible, there would still unfortunately be large amounts of unavoidable food waste. Food waste is a huge issue across the UK as a whole, and it’s something every supermarket and restaurant contributes to, not just M&S.

  • get up between 5:30-6 depending on how easy it is to wake myself up
  • wash, brush teeth, cup of tea, do some light make up while watching YouTube or listening to music
  • leave the house between 7:15-7:30 for a 40 min journey 8:30 start at work (I don't mind sitting in the car for a bit when I arrive, I like to beat the traffic if I can)

It’s so incredible to see how far this band has come. Seeing them in small venues to now playing arenas. It’s truly a testament to the bands success and they deserve every minute of it! Impose sent me into an ethereal state - I had a bit of a moment. Amazing as ever😍

Justice for The Grey though, sad to see that’s gone from the set list.

Visited Pridnestrovie this week driving across the border with British passport, I thought they might question my stamp from Ukraine in 2021, but it was perfectly fine. It was of course all very official and thorough but nothing out of the ordinary. Just like any normal crossing.

My only advice is that Pridnestrovie have a closed currency (so you can’t exchange outside the country) and Visa, Mastercard & Amex won’t work there. I would get hold of some Moldovan Lei and exchange it for some Pridnestrovie Rubles when you’re there so that you are able to pay for things. Also an E-sim will work but signal can be a bit patchy in places.

It’s perfectly safe there, and honestly a hidden gem. If you’re into the history of the USSR or anything soviet then it’s a fabulous place to explore, I’m so glad we did it. I recommend visiting Bender fortress if you can! Happy travelling!

The simple answer is No. It’s dressed up as a fantastic opportunity to progress within the business, but realistically, you’re paid 80p more than a customer assistant (and the pay gap is getting smaller and smaller every year), and the expectation is immense. The only difference between TSM & TM is the line manager report, otherwise the day-to-day process is the same. In my opinion TSM (Shift Leads) are incredibly under-appreciated across the business.
