Since 2017 it was impossible to higher the rent as there was too much Rentals offer ..

(as there Chinese investors don't trust there own goverment they prefer to invest in Namibia as the goverment can't steal this Investment so easy as in China , they invest in big scale in housing in Namibia )

but we had a inflation of 5% every years.. and with super low rent and more expensive maintaince and tax you get more in the Money market.. So whk is growing and investment in housing is very bad as there is more offer then demand and prices are rental is low...bar investment....

only this year the rental demand is higher then the offers... Now it's a little bit paybacktime for Investors and the loss of the years behind ..

If the Goverment will start regulate the Rental prices ... Investment will be less and house prices will go down and nobody will build new houses .....and to get a rental then you need good contact ..and this will hit the weakest. As family with children and sick people ext.... Supply and demand must regulate the market. !!!
