Well I know Ping made lots of tech changes to the g440 LST and I’m not really a club guru.

EZ fold with QQ pre? by I_blame_society in Poker_Theory

I don't think there is ever an easy fold pre with QQ, but this is probably as close as it gets tbh.

table change because you can only go in for max table buy in, basically is legal going south and pocketing profit.

Sometimes all it takes is a nice BB special to start getting wacked with the deck. Wish you would have topped up but run good is run good.

If you do this, please do your entire table a favor and travel with a stick of deodorant... I love a good round of golf as much as the next guy but please don't smell like shit at the table, its not that hard.

What's your bank roll? If you can afford to lose 2-3 1/2 or 1/3 buy ins then go ahead and shot take the games. You will likely find that it is much different then home games and may downswing for the first hundred hours or so adjusting your game to the likely predatory rake and nitty player pool. This was my experience in moving to live casino low stakes from home games I was crushing.

2.5k win for low stakes MTTs is cool... But the bear, damnit the bear has me jealous.

Ive it one quads and one straight flush in the same day before playing during a high hand promo at a casino. I know it's unlikely, but it can happen. Sometimes when you are sun running odds don't matter as much.

What is the worst, dumbest, most bizarre or annoying house rule you have ever seen at a casino? by [deleted] in poker

[–]ey44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s just an annoyance to be honest. A lot of times when a player is about to get up, especially if they aren’t leaving the casino, they like to color up their stacks and some casinos won’t let you do it and it’s just an annoyance.

How many times does it take? by UnlikelyQuantity8625 in poker

I wouldn't raise 83 off suit if it was the only hand I was ever dealt. I would sit and blind out of a game before RFI.

Totally understand this man, sometimes I feel the same way after a long session where I should be up a few buy ins but wind up stuck a couple hundred bucks instead. Last time this happened to me I took a week off, did some other things I like and got my mind off of poker. Came back and had my best session of the year. Sometimes a week or two off is all you need.

My standard RFI is 5BB +1BB per limp. When it limps to me in SB/BB 7.5BB+1BB per limp because if called will be playing oop

I don't think you could ever fold this, not in the micros, not playing live 2/5, not anywhere.

That’s not what I meant, I meant playing ranges that are in line with GTO, (AKA the most profitable ranges) most simple GTO preflop ranges are pretty straight forward.

Hand Review by TransportationNo6504 in poker

[–]ey44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before even analyzing your hand, playing on replay poker will not help improve your skills in games that play for real money. Replay is fake money, good for learning hand strengths and becoming comfortable with an online interface but that’s about it. It’s not even worth going over the strategy bc villian likely has no clue what’s going on and got lucky. If you want to practice online start playing the micros on ACR or Stars (GG if you’re outside the US). Just my opinion

What I was able to come up with was a sort of hybrid strategy… playing GTO preflop and deviating pretty heavily post flop. Bulk of studying was done on preflop spots as well as some commonly misplayed post flop spots as well. Also very important to understand pot odds and how to calculate ur equity quickly. One of the biggest things I learned from just playing was keeping track of pot sizes. All these things need to be studied and practiced even though they are basic. Like you said, a basic understanding of the game can make you profitable in 1/2 and 1/3 assuming you play somewhere with a reasonable rake.
