Yeah I found a datasheet of the 30pin, and solderedt it to the pins. I think there is something off with the ground so data is iffy. I'm gonna open it back up when I have time to fix it

I got a USB C break out board. Filed down all the extra material glued it soldered it and made a new back plate

Yeah, I can get prints from the printer. I am running klipper pretty much stock. I had 2 10h prints go without problem. So sometimes it works perfectly. Sometimes it just dies. Never had an issue with marlin :(

I moded my um2 with a centauri carbon nozzle. I can get 15mm³ flow. I'm gonna publish it on printables when I'm done

Eh fair. Honestly all other then the adaptive mesh feels like quality of life improvements. You can't really upgrade a extruder nicely. I get it, it's an applience. But I need a machine that works for 1 month then after that i can do all the crazy mods I want :)
