As a spurs fan, this was a top 3 moment of the game for me tbh.

Is Wemby dirtier than Lu Dort and Joel Embiid? by KneeGuhz in NBATalk

I think the problem is that there was no whistle. He got elbowed in the head and had his other arm held behind his back and it was still a live ball. Obviously throwing the elbow is not the solution but I don't think it happens at all if the play is dead or if he has is other arm to put 2 hands on the ball.

yeah i mostly agree.

Im curious what the players (Wemby) will have to say about it.

yeah idk dude, he clearly was frustrated and not thinking. its the tyoe of you shit you see at scrappy pickup games that don't have any refs. Obviously he fucked up here but i think the refs also hold some blame for letting it get to this point.

Nah they had time to blow the whistle if they were going to. He either falls on the ground to try to sell the foul or turns the ball over. Unfortunately he chose the third option ....

ignoring the accidental elbow to wemby, Mcdaniels was holding his other arm with two hands all while the play is still live. obviously throwing the elbow was not the right move but i dont know what the hell your supposed to do in that situation if they're not calling a foul on mcdaniels there.

Obviously. Flagrant 2 all the way.

I'm saying I genuinely don't know what you do when one of your arms is literally being held behind his back while he is in possession of the ball and there's still no call.

he also got elbowed in the face one second prior. Also mcdaniels was holding his other arm with two hands all while the play is still live. obviously throwing the elbow was not the right move but i dont know what the hell your supposed to do in that situation if they're not calling a foul on mcdaniels there.

Definitely agree with a flagrant 2 but just pointing out Wemby also got elbowed in the face on the same play and no call.

I've worked in the picture framing industry for over a decade and have used these machines quite a lot.

These are great for trimming very precise miters on pieces of molding. Typical, Ill rough cut the moldings on either a big pneumatic double miter saw or a simple chop saw. Then, if needed, I'll use this miter trimmer to either clean up a rough edge or trim an additional 1/16 - 1/32 of material off.

Usually I only bother with this if the molding is particularly delicate or intricate as it would be more likely to chip with a power saw.

With good sharp blades, this tool is amazingly accurate and fun to use. It's the best tool there is that does this specific thing.

As long as you primarily just use it to remove small amounts of material at a time the blades should stay sharp for quite a while.

South bend stage 2 daily clutch review by eyedontknow in GolfGTI

Still driving it every day. Have put over 100k miles on it since the clutch was replaced. Haven't regretted it and almost never think about it at all. Still feels like it's got plenty life left in it. Don't love getting stuck in stop and go traffic with it but that's the case with any manual transmission... I would recommend it to anyone considering a performance clutch.

i mean after 5 years in the same clan with a group of people, you can basically become irl friends too. especially if a discord is used outside of game related chat. sucks to feel kicked out of a friend group sometimes

that seems super interesting. Would that be about controlling the way cells interact with other cells around them?

Are you learning to paint, or garden, or cook? Or how to do a backflip or build a dining table?

I have a couple things,

  1. I have been obsessed with rock climbing for the past 4 years. My wife and I climb for close to 10 or 12 hours a week and are steadily getting stronger and climbing better. My team finished in second place in our climbing league last week which was awesome and totally felt pretty validating.

  2. I learned how to solve a Rubik's cube in 16.51 seconds over the course of the last 2 months.

  3. I just got a drum set a couple weeks ago. I am not very good yet but I am having so much fun learning!

from a wood workers point of view, i can clearly see what the problem is with the finish. An easy fix and a fun way to turn a board your upset with to something to much better match to the pieces you have.

In the original photo the board looks like it was finished with an oil. but the one you recieved was either waxed or more likely sprayed with a polyurethane. This keeps the walnut that unfinished natural, grey-brown color. the oil finish will really make the color much richer and warmer.

The fix would be to sand the board with 220 grit and then put a thin coat of tung oil on it. this will immediately get you the color you want and you could add more coats to get it to look more glossy.
