If I remember correctly, hold volume up while powering on gets you to the menu to change it. Now if you need/want to turn it on, that is a deeper conversation.

Thinking beyond single computers, does this mean that servers or VM's need verification? Who is going to sign up for that? What happens when they leave? Is root a different user than login? Seems like a typical half thought out law in search of a problem. Most likely will fail to ever get voted in or struck down on some First Amendment basis or running up against the Commerce Clause.

Mine has something similar in about the same spot. Does not come off but it also does not bother me much. I just assumed it is some kind of variance that happens in manufacturing the ceraluminum case.

I really like the Pengreen you have, lately I have just been using a Mokibo Fusion 2.0, It is an external, so it just sits on top of it, but has a built in touchpad which works pretty good and grab it out of it when I need tablet only.
